A Wonderful Stay! We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Jose’s place! The property was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and in a perfect location. Jose went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, yet close to everything we needed. Communication with Jose was smooth and prompt, making the check-in process a breeze. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. We hope to return soon!

This home was exactly what we were in looking for in our first vacation to Mexico. We had a party of 15, with 9 of those being kids from 1-11 years old. It was exactly what was described and we could not have been happier. The 2-3 min walk down the little street to the beach club was so convenient for the times we wanted to actually play on the beach. They accurately describe their private beach entrance: even with water shoes it is very rocky and hard to navigate, but the views are worth it being right on the beach. We loved having the cleaning crew every other day and the pool cleaners every day. It felt like everything was taken care of and all we had to do was relax. The ONLY cons (and they are petty) is the top two bathrooms' water pressure is not good, the washer/dryer is a combo and it takes a really long time to dry clothes, and it was a little hard to know where to go when we arrived. Absolutely would stay again and I hope we can! 10/10 would recommend!!

We were disappointed to see a lot of elements of the house were aged, unfinished or broken/damaged. We paid for what we saw in the pictures. What we got did not live up to expectations. An honest mistake, so fyi, house listing indicates it is 25' (which means 25 feet) from tulum but it is 25km from tulum, which is an hour away. Appliances were really old and didn't work well. Cabinets throughout were not in good condition, the master bathroom mirror was cracked, there were exposed light bulbs missing covers, or not functioning light bulbs. It's an easy fix but why is the guest the one to point this out. The only lounge chairs were actually lounge mattresses (not like in the pics) and there were only 2 at the pool and 1 near the "beach" (rocky water access), which made hanging out at the pool for 11 people a deal breaker. The private chef made all the difference - highly recommend. Host was very nice and helped a ton in planning and prep, just wish the house was more like the pics.

My husband and I rented Casa Paamul for ourselves and our families because we we got married down the road at Blue Venado. It was the perfect house for us all to be together and very close to our wedding venue. The house was beautiful and we loved having private access to the water. Not much to do around walking distance but you're a close drive to many cenotes, PDC, Xcaret and Akumal. Would definitely gather a crew and stay here again!

The Paamul House was an incredible travel experience for our family of 11! (8 adults, 2 teenagers (both 15 years old) and 1 child (8 years old). We were there for my Dad’s 80th birthday. The house was spacious and the kitchen had everything. The views were stunning. The beach is your backyard. You can snorkel straight out, so bring your gear. The reef had lots to see. Bring water shoes. The pool is so nice & clean! You can ask the host to provide groceries, for a small fee. Give them a list so that when you arrive you can have a few things there for you. There’s a grocery store close by, too. There’s only one restaurant walking distance at the hotel property and they close at 8pm. We were glad we had food in our home after a long travel day. Try the private chef! There’s a Christian church nearby for Sunday service. We felt safe there the whole time. We are happy with the the service we received. It’s unlike any AirbnB we’ve stayed in. It felt like we were in a 5 star hotel.

Casa Paamul was so stunning that everyone in our group was speechless as we walked through the home, admiring each and every room. We appreciated the AC in every bedroom and in the kitchen/living area. This was the nicest vacation home many people in our group had stayed in before. The private "beach" was a beautiful place to enjoy coffee in the mornings or lounge in the afternoon since the pool would be shaded. Our group loved swimming in the pool, which had both a shallow end (with steps) and deep end. The pool was not heated, which for our off season trip made swimming without the sun shining down a bit chilly. The house comes stocked with an ample amount of basics- seasonings, oil, bag of ice, water dispenser, coffee maker, utensils, and more plates/bowls/cups than you'll need. The house was in good repair, and the host was generally responsive (some minor inconsistencies). Perfect amount of private and communal space for a medium sized group!

House was located right on the beach. Only thing is you couldn’t swim due to rocks & rough water. Bedrooms were nice, house was great size for 10, bathrooms all had issues (water pressure, clogged shower heads, weird smell). Area very isolated. We ended up renting a car. Pool not heated and no pool chairs. Towels were super thin, rough and painful to use. House needs a deep cleaning and major repairs outside. Has so much potential. Hosts were great. Please make needed repairs and we would recommend to those who prefer peace and quiet. Our group would have preferred a more walkable area.

Casa Paamul is such a beautiful place to stay. The casa is spacious with plenty of nooks and areas at the property to enjoy privacy even in a group. The grounds are really pretty and relaxing, and having access to the hotel makes is even more ideal. This is a perfect casa to gather. We had a very small elopement here and it was a perfect setting. Also, we traveled with kids, and the private beach is wonderful and perfect for them to explore, with a better access to from the hotel for snorkeling. We saw turtles and a number of fish. The private pool was perfect for windy days and the location is secure and easy access to all around the area -- whether you want more of a night life in Playa or a quiet dinner in Puerto Aventuras. Our host was good at communications and we loved our vacation. Such a beautiful casa. We will return!

We had a nice family vacation at Casa Paamul. Our group consisted of 9 adults and 2 children (6 & 3), and there was plenty of room for all. Some pros and cons. Pros: -Large accommodations, making it private when needed or easy to gather -The hosts are very helpful - they helped us book a great chef for multiple days as well as a local photographer who took family photos for us -Water & view from the home is stunning (although you can't really swim out of the back because so many rocks) -Beach Club on the property was a great place to spend the day & lunch there is excellent Cons: -Overall cleanliness & functionality of home: outside of home is a bit rundown; floors were dirty upon arrival; had to contact the hosts for a few issues (one toilet had to be replaced, showers not draining at first, DishTV didn't work until the 3rd day) -Trash everyone on the beach. Bottle caps floating, plastics & utensils scattered, discarded deodorant bottles. Needs a major cleanup -Pools are not heated
