Private bath room and a fully equipped kitchen, closet, tv and a fan. The space Our location is only 6 km away from the internacional airport Juan Santamaría, the main airport of Costa Rica. Also we are right next to “Parque Viva”, which makes it perfect to stay at our facilities in combination with attending some activity there. We hadden een fijn verblijf. Het was onze laatste nacht en waren zeer verbaasd om na bijna 4 weken alsnog een helmspecht en een motmot te zien, gewoon in de tuin! Ook heb ik die nacht een choliba schreeuwuil gehoord en gezien! We hadden de kamer met kitchenette en konden ons goed behelpen. Het personeel spreekt enkel Spaans, maar is supervriendelijk. De guard heeft ons verschillende foto's laten zien van de dieren die daar mogelijk kunnen rondlopen. Omdat we op de foto's slechts 1 bed zagen (wij slapen moeilijk samen), hadden we vooraf met Bertus contact opgenomen en hij verzekerde ons dat er in elke kamer 2 bedden stonden. Het 2e bed betrof een zetelbed dat niet zo comfortabel was. Ondanks het feit dat we onze handdoeken niet op de grond hadden gegooid, werden ze na 1 dag al vervangen. Dit is voor ons echt niet nodig, want dat is niet zo milieuvriendelijk.

Guacima Escondida ligt in een mooie tuin en is ideaal om bij aankomst of voor vertrek van de luchthaven even op adem te komen en alles rustig te bekijken. Maaltijden zijn beschikbaar. Het enige storende element vonden wij het circuit dat zich ergens achter de tuin moet bevinden. Daar wordt soms - zeker niet elke dag - tot vrij laat op gereden, wat enig lawaai geeft. Maar daar kan Bertus natuurlijk weinig aan doen.

Mi esposa y mi hija fueron a un concierto en al anfiteatro Coca Cola del parque Viva. Buscamos una ubicacion accesible a buen precio y fue la mejor opcion que pudimos seleccionar. Quedaron satisfechas con el lugar y agradecidas de la atencion. Full recomendable.
