Excellent stay - easy to feel at one with the cloud forest and nature- we were greeted by an armadillo in the driveway as we got out of the car and also saw toucans from the balcony! The house is situated in quite a remote location but is easy enough to find with Pedro’s written directions. We made use of the Belmar hotel being a walkable distance from the house, though make sure you take a torch for the walk back! Thoroughly enjoyable time had by all.

This is a really beautiful place. Highly recommend. Be careful to drive at night as there is only a single lane told that leads up to this place, but the instructions from the host were very clear.

Beautiful place in a magical setting. Love going down to the hotel at the end of hill for their restaurant, microbrewery and little shop. We absolutely loved our peaceful time there and hope to return. It felt remote but safe. The views are amazing on a clear day, you can see the Pacific Ocean way in the distance. Definitely find it during the day but once you find it, easy to find again.

This property was such an amazing experience! Yes it's a little tricky to get to but if you follow the green arrows to the dance place, it also leads you to the house! I can see how the roads can freak out someone without 4-wheel drive but it was worth the view! And not as bad as you think once you do it once... this place had such a cozy but luxurious feel to it! It would've a great spot to be inspired to write a book or to do art! Just amazing!

The cottage is architecturally beautiful and easy for spending time and the beginning and end of each day. The view is impeccable. The location near Santa Elena allows for easy access and yet it’s far away for seeking a quiet experience in the forest. We loved our stay and would easily be happy to return.

This was a beautiful home with incredible views of the cloud forest. We loved spending time on the deck, unwinding and listening to the sounds of nature. The house was fairly easy to find, and the host provides clear, detailed directions. I’d recommend arriving before sunset if possible, if you’re not comfortable navigating roads at night, it could be a bit challenging to locate in the dark.
