Jungle Living Tree House Capuchin Monkey

This was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the treehouse. Several howler monkeys were in the trees when we arrived. We needed a load of laundry done and Edwin took care of that. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

We loved our stay in the jungle treehouse! The space is cozy - we spent hours staring out the floor-to-ceiling windows watching the storms roll through and looking for animals. A true highlight was being visited by a family of howler monkeys including a baby monkey!!

Fantastic property! 5/5 stars This is an amazing location literally built into the trees (tree house). It's fairly close to MonteVerde and has good walkability to a few restaurants and shops in the area. The host, Edwin, was amazing. He helped with setting up tours, providing recommendations, and ensuring all of our questions were answered.

Cannot say enough nice things about Edwin and his family. The space was beautiful and the community was so kind and welcoming, it felt like home from the moment we got there until the moment we left. Would recommend Edwin and his magical treehouses to anyone!

WOW!!! This place was simply incredible in every sense of the word! Edwin was an amazing host who greeted us personally to walk us up to the tree house and give us some local recs. As someone who was weary to stay here simply because I have pretty severe arachnophobia (yes I know, ironic as we LOVE Costa Rica so much we’ve actually been twice), we only had to shoo away 2 tiny little spiders & the atmosphere here at the treehouse totally makes up for any fears/worries I may have had. Within 10 mins of checking in (early too, kindly allowed by Edwin), we were surrounded by a group of capuchin monkeys. One of them was very curious and got pretty close to us which was awesome. We also had a coati visit us a couple times, as well as a gorgeous Motmot sighting. We only stayed 1 night unfortunately as I wasn’t sure how I would handle being in a jungle tree house & I regret not staying here longer! It was cozy & clean, and the amount of wildlife you see from your front door is incredible.

This is one of my favorite Airbnbs I have EVER stayed at. Not only is it in a very walkable location, but the place was clean and beautiful. Edwin was the best host, providing fantastic local recommendations and assisting us with arranging transport. The treehouse was an amazing and unique experience. We saw monkeys on the property!! If you are debating where to stay in Monteverde, look no further! Thank you Edwin, we will be back!

We absolutely loved our stay at this treehouse in Monteverde! The space was unique, cozy, and surrounded by nature, making it such a special experience. Waking up to the sounds of the forest and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere was unforgettable. Everything was clean, well thought out, and comfortable, and our hosts made sure we had everything we needed. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Monteverde - it’s a stay you won’t forget!

I really enjoyed my stay in Monteverde. The accommodation was comfortable and had everything I needed, but what stood out the most was the incredible wildlife around the property. Waking up to the sounds of birds and spotting different animals nearby made the experience truly special. It’s the perfect place to connect with nature while still having a cozy and welcoming stay.

Great place! The host was very responsive and gave great instructions. We got to see so much wildlife right outside our door, including a troop of capuchin monkeys, colorful motmots, and an aguti. Would definitely recommend this place to be immersed in the wildlife.

This place was amazing! Felt like we were in the middle of the rainforest. Every time we stepped outside there was a new animal there to greet us! 10/10 recommended staying here!
