Perfect location, just 2 minutes walk from the beach. Very cute house. We saw macaws, monkeys, toucans just from balcony. Fully equipped kitchen, AC in bedrooms. Everything was great except horrible construction noise nearby. It starts at 8 am, so you can’t enjoy jungle in full. The whole week we heard this noise. Internet connection was unstable. My husband needed to work, and he can’t because of construction and weak internet. These two things were the cons. Everything else was perfect. I would stay again there when the neighbours will finish their renovation:)

The wildlife right from the deck was incredible. And the location was perfectly walkable to the beach and beach bars. Wonderful spot with a very Caribbean vibe. It did however feel very rustic, and the no-see-ems left me with way too many bug bites to count. Nothing a simple floor fan couldn't remedy though. All in all it's a beautiful spot and we really enjoyed our stay.

Punta Cocles es un maravilloso lugar, y la casa es igualmente, un sueño. Esta super cerca de la playa, y tiene todo lo necesario para pasar unos días extraordinarios. La cocina esta super bien equipada, cada cuarto tiene su propio baño, tienen duchas externas y un jardín precioso...., ya sólo desde el jardín es posible ver perezosos, lapas verdes, guatusas y un sin fin de aves. Sin duda regresaría a este paraíso, 100% recomendable

We had a fabulous two weeks at Pablo's in Punta Cocles. The house is literally a few steps from a beautiful beach where we went to every morning, noon, and evening for lengthy bouts of swimming and body surfing. The water is warm and inviting, the beach is clean and wide. Pablo arranged for our pickup at the airport of Limon, our plane landed and in a few minutes we were on the road to the house. The house is large, airy and set in a luscious well tended garden. From our balcony we could see macaws flying around, hear monkeys howling and observe a wide assortment of birds, including wood peckers and hummingbirds. The house was clean and well stocked. Wifi is very reliable and strong. The house had two bicycles that were used thoroughly to get around. Our host gave us great restaurant recommendations (El Rincon Porteño, Spicy Coconut and Que Quilombo come to mind). The bed was comfortable and the furniture in the living room and dining room was inviting. All in all a 10/10.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was a very short walk to the beach. Our strolls along the beautiful beach were all that we hoped for in visiting Puerto Viejo. The veranda was expansive and a great place to sit and listen to the monkeys and macaws. The local restaurants were superb. I got to go scuba diving on the reef at Punta Uva which was the highlight of my visit. We will definitely return to Pablo's house on our next trip to Costa Rica. Pura vida!

Enjoyed the convenience of the homes location which was just a five minute walk to the beach and five minute walks to restaurants, which was a great convenience to allow me to easily return to complete more professional work and academic studies from the home. The home was very beautiful with a beautiful deck in picturesque surroundings. It seemed that it would be enjoyable for any occasion of a traveler. The communication from the host was very kind, helpful and great. Great internet connection. Thank you!

Our stay at Pablo's in Playa Cocles was simply incredible. One of the best AirBnb's that we have stayed at. The place is a classic carribbean home, with open floor plan and more porch space than the home itself. Loved the fact that it was so private, secure, and surrounded by gardens with green macaws, sloths, hummingbirds, and howler monkeys all around the property. It is on a secluded dead end street with other local and rental homes, and the beach is closer than you think from the listing, you can actually hear the ocean and see the reef from the porch. Carlos, who was our amazing local greeter and liaison for the place, went above and beyond. Our first night we had an issue with the refrigerator. He came over with a cooler full of ice just in case the fridge didn't work through the night. The next morning he went 3 towns away and brought up a brand new fridge. Just incredible CR caribbean hospitality and kindness. 6 stars! Will stay over and over again!
