Everything was perfect!! The location was amazing, with the amazing beach, sunsets and private pool. We really appreciated the air conditioning in each room as it was very hot when we visited in March. The house had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. The hosts answered any questions very quickly and the caretaker was discreet and helpful. We did various activities within a one hour drive and we enjoyed coming back at night to this quiet location. We would definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Lucia and Chris's villa. It was exactly as described in the listing, and photos were accurate. Beds were very comfortable. My family of four loved the pool; we spent a lot if time cooling off out there and even enjoying the stars in the evening. The landscaping and ocean views were also beautiful! We also got to see the monkeys that go through the property in the mornings - so fun! The restaurant down the road was very convenient, and the employees there were very kind. The villa is a quick and easy drive to Manuel Antonio, Jaco, Rainmaker Park. And Parrita has convenient options for groceries. Lucia and Chris communicated well and were quick to address the only minor issue we had (needed batteries). Highly recommend!

We loved staying here! It is a beautiful home located on our favorite beach. The house was very clean and we enjoyed being able to cook some at the house. The landscaping is the prettiest I have ever seen and the grounds keeper Frank was great! We enjoyed feeding monkeys in the back yard along with bird watching. The beach is amazing and very private. The owners quickly responded to any questions we had. Our only cons were the little water pressure in the master bedroom and we lost power for several hours one day. I know that is not the owners fault but when the power is out there is no running water as well. From what we have been told, power outages are common but usually don’t last long. I think the house would benefit from a back up generator. We are back home and already missing this gem. Pura Vida!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The groundskeeper Tomas was amazing when we had some drainage issues in the kitchen and he worked tirelessly to help us fix it. Lucia and Chris communicated very well with us when we had questions. The location is very relaxing and we loved the large furniture outside by the pool. The only drawback is that traffic can sometimes make getting to and from the airport quite the lengthy journey - although this has nothing to do with the hosts or the home itself. The beach itself was so relaxing as there was hardly anyone else around. Our family brought a 2 year old and a 10 month old and Lucia and Chris provided a pack and play for safe sleeping. I would definitely recommend this stay!

Highly recommend this beautiful home across from a mostly private beach. Great location near many points of interest. It was perfect for my family of 5 and the hosts were great!

A beautiful home — it feels brand new in good ways. The setting is spectacular & the short walk across the road to an AMAZING beach offers privacy, beauty & expansive sunsets. We walked 2 miles to the southeast and a mile and a half to the northwest on the beach & never saw more than a handful of people. Rare & gorgeous. Beds were comfortable with nice linens and pillows — it’s always good when the sleeping is great. We had to drive to do just about anything else, but we had 5-6 memorable adventures, along with great food, within 15-30 minutes in multiple directions. We never felt like we were spending too much time in the car. One local restaurant is right down the way with good food. When the owners warn about the slippery decks if wet, they are NOT kidding. So some care is required. Nothing a little caution can’t balance — but it’s SLICK! Tomas, the caretaker, was very helpful but never obviously present. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOME.

This place was Amazing. The view was fantastic. We had a private pool. Direct access to the beach. The most Beautiful beach that you have all to yourself. We fed monkeys in the backyard. We had ourselves two guard dogs that we instantly fell in love with. The two little dogs just hang around outside very sweet well behaved dogs. There was beautiful Macaws that landed in the front yard and we got the neatest pictures. The landscape of the yard was beautiful. This place is in a beautiful location. And a restaurant down the road Mary Sols was really good. If you’re in to relaxing and seeing new beautiful scenery this is the place for you.

Chris and Lucia's house was absolutely amazing. It was one of the best Air BNB experiences we have had to date. The house was beautiful, and the location was exactly what we look for. We really enjoyed the beach the house is located on. It was very private, and the waves were great for surfing. There were lots of areas to fish within walking distance of the house. Manuel Antonio National Park was less than an hour drive. We also visited Jaco, which is only an hour north. The food at Mar Y Sol was fantastic, and a quick walk from the house. I really hope we have the opportunity to stay in Chris and Lucia's house again.
