This is a beautiful home a few blocks from Playa Pelada with all the amenities. There are numerous restaurants in the immediate area, as well as a local surf shop for board rentals. Playa Pelada is gorgeous, and a short walk from Playa Guiones. My only negative critique is that renters pinned Playa Pelada - the actual beach - as the home’s location, so I did think it would be closer to the beach when renting. The house is a few blocks from the beach, and I felt this was not clear from the listing. The roads in Playa Pelada are TERRIBLE - chocked full of potholes and craters - but this is true for much of Costa Rica so I suppose it goes with the territory! The home is lovely and we enjoyed our stay.

Our boys and I just returned to Costa Rica, and this stay exceeded every expectation. We loved every minute of it. The recommendations for restaurants, beaches, and excursions were spot on and helped us experience the area like locals. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked, which made it easy to enjoy breakfasts and several family meals at the house between adventures. What truly set this stay apart was the outstanding property management. Communication was prompt, welcoming, and incredibly helpful from the moment we booked until we checked out. They provided great transportation guidance, helped coordinate experiences, and were always quick to respond to any questions. We felt safe, well cared for, and confident knowing someone was just a message away. Traveling with a 16-year-old and a 10-year-old, it’s not always easy to find a place that works well for everyone, but this home was perfect for our family. We made unforgettable memories here and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again

Casa Calma villa is fantastic. Perfectly private, big luxurious and excellently equipped. ( every kitchen utensil possible & more towels etc than a whole family can use) The very good Restaurant La Luna is easily walkable as is a great sunset beach and a few shops. The wonderful Guiones Beach (shade surf safe swimming white sand) is just a 5 min drive as are the best range of shops & bars.

We have been to Nosara numerous times, and absolutely loved our stay at this house with our two children (9 and 11). There was plenty of space for the four of us- we loved that the primary suite had good privacy at the end of the house, while still being on the same floor as the kids. Everyone enjoyed the pool, and the kitchen was very well stocked with quality cookware- the espresso machine was particularly appreciated! Communication with the hosts was easy, and the home's security was excellent. The house is in easy walking distance to the beach and several restaurants and convenience shops, but is still quiet and peaceful- except for the monkeys, of which we saw many! We loved everything about the house and location, and are already dreaming of a return.

We spent 2 nights at this property and we found it very convenient and relaxing. The concierge group was very helpful, friendly and responsive to our requests. We would easily rent from them again; however we would not sta again at this house as we all found the sofas in the living room extremely uncomfortable. This is enough of a reason for us to book a different house when we go back to Nosara in near future. Nevertheless, the neighborhood is great with many local restaurants, grocery store and even gallery. Playa Pelada is beautiful but not great for swimming due to strong currents. Overall we had a great time at this place.

What a beautiful place to stay for our family. We ended up staying in more than we thought we would since the pool and house were so pleasant. A remarkable place to stay with incredibly thoughtful hosts

This place was amazing. Traveled with two kiddos. Felt extremely safe. Track blockers, locks and alarm system. Even the neighborhood in general felt safe. Pool was heavenly and well maintained. House was fully stocked. Beach towels galore! Even came with lots of gecko friends. Not much around Playa Pelada, which makes it lovely and peaceful. What restaurants are around were wonderful (hello sunrise coffee, we miss you). Host provided tons of material on local area and things around. Playa pelada is a short walk. Enjoyed morning walks to guiones. Even the kids made the trek. Would love to come back here!

We had a fantastic stay. The property was beautiful and the hosts were always responsive to any questions or requests we had. I would highly recommend this property and the hosts.
