This 2016 condominium with shared swimming pool is within 10 minutes of 7 of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica, incl. Playa Grande which is a National Park for the Leatherback turtles and has great surfing. The top floor has the main BathR and BR with walk-in shower and King-size bed. The main floor has the kitchen, LR, DR, 2nd and 3rd BR, 2nd bathroom, and balcony. The 3rd bedroom also functions as an office and TV room (HD projector and computer hookup). The space This condo has a complete different layout than all other condos. My wife and I spent about a year at location while our condo was being build. We paid great attention to detail like special lighting and custom designed night stands and closets. We love our place and only lived in it for 3 months before we had to return to the US. We choose the location because the town is a real "Tico-town" (not touristy) but still close enough to the main tourist town Tamarindo (about 20 minutes). Our condo is on the 2nd and 3rd floor of a 3 story building (building #9). The condo complex is called "Villas de Cabo Velas" or "Cabo Velas Estates" . You can find many other listings in this same condo complex on the web but I hope that our pictures show you that this condo is very different from all others and is much brighter on the inside. The beautiful one-piece Guanacaste wood office desk in the 3rd bedroom has plenty of room for 2 people. Sitting at the desk, one looks at trees, populated sometimes with howler monkeys or iguanas. The balcony on the other side of the condo looks out over the pool and central shared space. Towels and bedding is all included as well as high speed internet (up to 100 mbps) and over 200 TV channels. Smart TV with Netflix etc. For longer stays, please contact me about required cleaning by my cleaning person. It works well for all of us. Guest access Matapalo - our town - is less than 1 hour from Liberia International Airport (LIR) by car. Parking is available in front of our building (#9). The whole condo is available. So are the shared spaces like pool, patio, and rancho. Not all condos have house numbers but ours has a sign with the name of our condo above the door: "Muchos Pasos" (it had taken us many steps to get here). I can arrange to have my co-host meet you at the main entrance of the complex or at our condo. We prefer self check in with the numberlock code. Arriving the first time after sunset may be a bit daunting, although of course doable. If possible, try to arrive during daylight. Other things to note There are many stray dogs in Costa Rica. Most of them are friendly. Some in our neighborhood are almost too friendly. Please do NOT let any dogs into our house since they might follow you up the stairs to our condo. Also, water is not as abundant as in other parts of the world. We hope you think about our planet. Thank you.

Very nice place, had everything we needed and check-in was very smooth! We loved the space and that is very close to the pool for the kids. We will definitely be back soon! Thank you Luc for being a great host!

Luc's place was exactly what we needed for a family vacation! King bed/big bathroom upstairs and two bedrooms downstairs. Luc was extremely helpful and available as a host. The place has everything you need. The pool was perfect too!

Definitely recommend Luc’s place! It’s in a great community for kids and conveniently located between some of Guanacaste’s best beaches, restaurants, parks and schools. Luc shared recommendations and a guide to his home/neighborhood well in advance of our arrival so our check-in and stay were seamless. He was super responsive throughout our stay. We will definitely be back!

I don’t even know where to start. Luc was an amazing host from the moment we booked his condo. He sent me a message right away to let me know I am going to love Matapalo. A couple weeks prior to arriving, Luc sent us a very informative guide providing an abundance of information to make our trip perfect. And then we arrived at his condo! AMAZING!!!!! The condo was even better than we expected! It was clean, well stocked and absolutely beautiful! The balcony looked over the pool, banana trees, birds and lizards all visible from this space. The condo is close to a soda which was amazing, a few little stores and only 5 mins from the ocean. My family and I loved our stay. I could go on and on about Luc’s place, it was everything described and so much more.

Condo is tucked away in the less touristy part of town, but still close. It is also well thought out, and very comfortable for my large family. I already booked a second reservation.

Phenomenal hosts. Gorgeous, well-stocked home with a great view of the pool. Amazing support staff in close proximity to handle all the this and that which can come up during a long term stay. The maintenance and security crews took great care of the pool and complex. WIFI seamlessly supported remote working back to the US and multiple devices between me and my two teens. Washer/dryer, A/C, hot water, comfortable beds and other amenities added to the feeling of a home-away-from-home experience. The location was great for access to all the nearby Playas (Grande, Tamarindo, Potrero, Flamingo, Brasilito, etc.) and for visiting the Guanacaste national parks. We even road tripped to the La Fortuna / Lake Arenal area. A rental car is necessary. I would absolutely do another long term stay here. I highly recommend Luc & Abby's place.

What can I say. The pictures don't do this place justice. it felt like home as soon as we set foot in the apartment. it is much bigger than it looks in the pictures and from outside. it is super clean and very comfortable. The main bedroom bed is huge and very comfy. Loved that. super comfy L-Shaped sofa. TV with netflix, super fast wi-fi and dedicated room with desk and two chairs in case you need to work. This place has everything you need and location is near enough anything you need. Luc is fantastic host, we've not had better. very kind and always willing to help with anything. Making sure our stay was as good as it could be. The pool was being renovated but only took over a week and it looks great now. It's a very nice little community the condo is situated on. I don't know what else to say except if you're thinking about staying in this area and this place is available. You won't regret it. Thank you Luc

We spent 4 weeks in Lucas' apartment. We were 2 most of the time but were 5 adults for 9 days and were very comfortable. The apartment is very nice, well maintained and well equipped. Also a very nice pool area. Easy access to many beaches within 7 to 15 minutes drive. But the highlight was our host! Lucas is easy to communicate with and he enquired on our well being quite a few times at the beginning of our stay to make sure that all was fine. We highly recommend.
