The photos do not do it justice, Dave's place was really beautiful, comfortable, and well appointed. The host was responsive and tried to help when he could. The only issue was the price. Dave explained that we went during prime time, and there were few other places to stay during that time. It was over the top expensive! But that was a choice we made to be in Nosara during that time.

We loved our stay at David’s place. Super close to the beach, very easy to find, plenty of space and security. Really fit the vibe we were looking for. Every day we came home and the place was cleaned too which we didn’t expect.

I stayed in in Casa Pelicano in Villa Tortuga in July 2017 and it was perfection! The house was perfect. We travelled as a group of 6 and this house was large enough for everyone. We did not cook but the kitchen was large and had every kitchen appliance, glassware and plate ware you would ever need. The air condition worked perfectly and was greatly appreciated when we needed to escape the jungle heat! It has lots of parking and is walking distance to the beach and many bars and restaurants. The pool is great and we actually hung out there more than the beach. There is a lot of room to hang your clothes and the washer and dryer came in handy. Little did I know we also had a cleaning service come in daily! There are 3 balconies in Casa Pelicano and they are the perfect place to start and end your day. Everyone working for Villa Tortuga and the Frog pad is really nice. David and his staff helped us find a place to rent quads and we rented surfboards and body boards at a discount since we were staying on the property. David was always prompt and thorough in his responses to all my questions leading up to my stay in Costa Rica. I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone that they should stay in Villa Tortuga and work with David if they are visiting Playa Guiones.
