The Space
Villa Pearl is located in the exclusive gated community of Playacar, just a five-minute walk from a private beach. The property benefits from 24/7 security and is within walking distance to Playacar’s private beach as well as an eight-minute walk to downtown Playa del Carmen’s 5th Avenue.
This modern villa features six bedrooms, each with walk-in closets, air conditioning, and ceiling fans. There are 5.5 bathrooms and five televisions throughout the home. The villa includes a Bose sound system with Bluetooth connectivity.
Set within a lush tropical garden, the villa boasts a large 40-foot private pool. The spacious living room is bright and airy, designed to create a comfortable and inviting atmosphere perfect for dining and relaxation.
Entertainment options include billiards, ping pong, a foosball table, and a cozy sofa area with a home movie theater.

We had 16 family members ranging in age from mid-twenties to 93, and the villa worked perfectly for all of us. We were flying in from multiple cities and our concierge, Mauricio, was outstanding in helping us modify shuttles when we encountered flight delays. He was also quick to respond whenever we had questions or needed assistance. Our cleaning service ladies - Mary and Karla - were also great. They tidied up after us every morning and it was nice to have freshly made beds and clean bathrooms. Jasmine is a great host - she quickly answered questions during the booking process and provided detailed access instructions before our arrival. The villa is very walkable, both within Playacar and to 5th Avenue and all the action. We enjoyed walking to Starbucks and La Brioche in the morning for coffee and pastries. It was also easy to flag a taxi in front of our villa whenever we needed one. We also enjoyed the pool a couple of days. We had a great stay and would recommend this property!

Jasmin's place was perfect. The house was roomy, had AC and was very well maintained. The cleaners kept the house clean every morning. The concierge Mauricio was the best. He was so responsive anytime we contacted him for recommedations or arranging transport. The neighborhood was private, peaceful and safe. The house itself was a 15 min walk to downtown. No notes, would stay here again, worth every penny!

We had an amazing stay! The location was beautiful, clean, and very safe. Mauricio, our concierge, was incredible, he went above and beyond to make our trip easy and enjoyable. The airport pick-up and drop-off were seamless and right on time, and he did a fantastic job coordinating all of our arrangements. The daily cleaning crew kept everything spotless, which we really appreciated. We also hired chefs during our stay, and I highly recommend it, it added such a special touch to our experience. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations, and we would absolutely stay here again!

The house itself was spacious, well-equipped, and located in a decent neighborhood. We appreciated the size and amenities, which made it comfortable in many ways. However, there were several downsides to our stay. The toilet in the main bedroom was broken, and some of the furniture felt outdated. The pillows were very large and uncomfortable, making it difficult to sleep well. The game room had a patio set in it, which was also uncomfortable and felt out of place. While the neighborhood was fine, we found Playa del Carmen to be overrated and quite expensive. It often felt like tourists were overcharged at every opportunity — from park tickets to various services. Although the concierge was available, their role was unclear as they didn’t really offer any proactive assistance during our stay. Overall, while the property had potential, our vacation in playa del Carmen was subpar.

A Perfect Stay with Outstanding Service! Our stay was amazing! The property was exactly as described—beautiful, clean, and fully equipped for a relaxing trip. The location offered privacy and easy access to local attractions. What truly set this experience apart was the concierge, Mauricio. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond—arranging transportation, offering great local tips, and checking in regularly. He was kind, responsive, and made us feel genuinely cared for. The maid service was also exceptional—the home was spotless when we arrived and stayed that way, thanks to the attentive cleaning staff. A standout moment: we accidentally left a bag behind, and Mauricio met us en route to the airport so we wouldn’t have to turn back. That kind of thoughtful service is rare. We can’t recommend this place—or the amazing team—highly enough. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a fabulous stay at this Airbnb! We went with 13 girls for a bachelorette trip and felt safe and at home here. Our two concierge Edson and Mauricio killed it. Edson was great helping us set up reservations and making sure we had a smooth and fun trip before it started. Mauricio met us at the house and was available for anything we needed. He even last minute got us shuttles and sent great recommendations for beach clubs and activities. The maids each morning were so sweet and did an amazing job helping us out with cleaning. Highly recommend!

We had an incredible stay here - location was great, the place was super clean, pool was awesome, and very spacious for 10 people. Could’ve easily fit more given all the beds and bathrooms. Having maid service and a concierge was a massive plus (thank you Mauricio for all the help!). Highly recommend for a large group!
