Spacious, cozy and comfortable apartment a few meters from the beach. Very quiet complex. It features a convenient terrace. It is next to El Sitio. There is a very refreshing shared pool with an excellent view of the beach (waves and surfers). There is also a space with games for children. A very useful park if you are traveling with family. In short, recommendable.

Fantastic cottage in a great location! Close to the beach and some nice bars/restaurants, all within walking distance. It's really great that you can use the hotel's swimming pool. The five of us had a lot of fun here! Monica is a very friendly hostess.

Monica's apartment is small and cozy. The apartment is on a second line of houses from the beach, which is very convenient. The pool on the beach is a nice bonus and the kids enjoyed it. The apartment has a chair, bed and baby bath which is a big plus for a family like ours. Monica was very available, we would definitely recommend the apartment!

This condo is in a great location. Steps from the beach and pool and tons of great restaurants. The playground just below the patio was an added bonus. The supermarket is only a 5 min walk away. This was the perfect location and size for our family and had everything we needed. AC in the rooms worked well and so did the hot water. I would recommend searching local events in Playa Venao as there was an Electronic Music festival happening while we were there and the town is known for their music festivals and surfing!

We had a wonderful time at Mónica’s place, who, by the way, is an excellent host. Everything was just as we expected, even better. We shared dinners on the terrace, breakfasts that could have gone on until lunch, sunsets by the pool... I could go on and on, but you have to experience it for yourself. We will definitely be back. Monica’s place was impecable clean. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were comfortable and the place was cozy and comfy. Our party had a variety of activities to enjoy in the area. While some of us were riding road bikes, others were taking surf lessons and in the afternoon we spent time together at the beach with beautiful sunsets. We had a great time! Had a very nice stay with the kids. Relaxed apartment with a nice terrace. Close to the beach and all restaurants. And in the evening, enjoy watching Netflix or playing a game at home.  Good beds, complete kitchen. Really had a wonderful time. Monica was a very thoughtful and kind host who responded quickly. She provided a baby bath and bed and when there was no drying rack, she arranged that for us as well. All in all, definitely recommended! We were a family of 4 and felt we had more than enough space. The place was clean, large, and had air conditioning throughout which was a nice break from the heat! The outdoor patio area was lovely and having access to the hotel grounds and pool was such a treat. Monica was a lovely host, quick to respond to any questions and to provide local recommendations. We have already recommended this place to friends.

We thought Monica's place was perfect for our larger group. It is in a great location. The pool, the outdoor showers, the beach were all huge plusses. It is on the second floor and the very comfy and generous outside furniture sits in a breezeway which made for very comfortable, cool days and evenings - what a treat! I guess this is on us for not doing our homework, but our stay coincided with the two week Reactor Venao event (can't explain it here but google if you are interested). I wish it had been mentioned to us. All night electronica, and I mean all night till dawn. The apartment vibrated from the music which some people might be into. We were there for the surfing, which is really fun in Venao. Great place and besides the all night partying, it was amazing.

We recently stayed at this apartment in Venao and had a mixed experience. The biggest plus is the location—just a few steps from the beach, which was fantastic. The area is also very quiet, making it a great place to relax.

Monica's place is perfect for enjoying Playa Venao and surfing. The condo has very nice outdoor space and feels very private. It is right at the beach and close to the grocery store and all of the shops and restaurants in Venao.  Being able to use the hotel pool and beach chairs is very convenient.  There's no better place to stay in Venao and I would definitely stay again! It's paradise! 😄

Great place, close to the beach, amazing host!

Wonderful! Spacious apartment extremely well located, steps from the beach and pool located jute on the beach, facing the surf spot. We could watch the kids surfing from the pool! The apartment is very nice, with sea view from 2 bedrooms and partial sea view from the terrace. The terrace is huge, partially covered and very well equipped. Playa Venao is amazing, very beautiful and we even had the chance to watch the laying of a turtle. Monica was perfect, always ready to help, very responsive and friendly.

Magnifique ! Appartement spacieux extrêmement bien situé, à quelques pas de la plage et de la piscine située jute sur la plage, face au spot de surf. Nous pouvions observer les enfants surfer depuis la piscine ! L'appartement est très joli, avec vue mer depuis 2 chambres et vue mer partielle depuis la terrasse. La terrasse est immense, partiellement couverte et très bien équipée. Playa Venao est incroyable, très beau et nous avons même eu la chance d'assister à la ponte d'une tortue. Monica a été parfaite, toujours prête à aider, très réactive et amicale.

We loved our stay at Monica’s place! The location is great - walking distance of the beach and most of the restaurants and markets in Playa Venao. The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped. Monica was very communicative and helpful with any question we had.

Place was fantastic meet all our expectations, we had some power outage undestandbly this was  out of control of the host but Monica did offer us a free night due to the inconvenience. Right in the center of Playa Venao restaurant food and service 5 star.

Our stay was fantastic, we want to return! The apartment is extremely cozy, spacious, clean, very well decorated. A few meters from the beach. Being part of the Hotel El Sitio complex you can make use of  the pool and hotel facilities, which adds a lot of value to the stay.  Communication with Monica was excellent, our inquiries were always answered in minutes. 100% recommended!

Monica and Gary’s place was the best! You’re in the best spot in Venao, the best wave breaks from right out front then down to the next resort over. Super comfy setup, beds, couches, patio furniture. A real home away from home. Oh, did I mention that Monica and Gary are absolute legends! Even before we arrived they reached out and helped us sort out travel arrangements to get from Panama City to Venao. The airline lost my boards so Gary worked on getting me one of his.  Then we needed a car rental and he hooked up a connection for that too. The list goes on and on. Anything you need they will do their absolute best to make happen while staying with them. We truly felt like we were family, not just guests. AirBnB - you need to come up with a tier above Superhost because this was next level hosting. 10 out of 5 stars if I could! 🤙

In general, the apartment was very pleasant. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach. The absolute plus point was that you were allowed to use the hotel pool. The apartment is well located in the center, lots of restaurants nearby. Supermarket is also just 2 min away. Supermarket is very expensive The apartment itself was clean, the beds comfortable, the essentials. However, it seems like Monica hasn't been there for a long time. There were some flaws,  among other things, all the glass surfaces (including windows) were very greasy. The open glasses were not rinsed forever, there were only 3 bread knives, only a mini cabinet for clothes. The sofas (inside and outside) and chairs were super stained, the sofa outside had lots of burn marks. There were no reasonable requirements for loungers. The entrance door was stuck and had a hard time opening. It is also important to know that the terrace is not private, it is located in the hallway.

Allgemein war die Wohnung sehr angenehm. Die Lage war perfekt, nur ein kurzer Weg zum Strand. Absoluter Pluspunkt war, dass man den Hotelpool nutzen durfte. Die Wohnung liegt gut im Zentrum, viele Restaurants in der Nähe. Der Supermarkt ist auch nur 2 Minuten entfernt. Der Supermarkt ist aber sehr teuer. Die Wohnung an sich war sauber, die Betten bequem, die nötigste Grundausstattung vorhanden. Jedoch scheint es, als wäre Monica schon lange nicht mehr dort gewesen. Es gab einige Makel,  unter anderem waren sämtliche Glasflächen (auch Fenster) sehr schmierig. Die offen stehenden Gläser wurden ewig nicht gespült, es gab nur 3 Brotmesser, nur ein Minischrank für Kleidung. Die Sofas (drin und draußen) und Stühle waren super fleckig, das Sofa draußen hatte viele Brandflecken. Es gab keine vernünftigen Auflagen für die Liegen. Die Eingangstür hing fest und ging nur schwer ganz zu öffnen. Wichtig ist auch zu wissen, dass die Terasse nicht privat ist, sie befindet sich im Hausflur.

We enjoyed our stay at Monica's apartment in Playa Venao. It was in a great location with easy, walkable access to the beach and surrounding shops. Monica was a great host and accommodated our late arrival. We were stuck in traffic and arrived later than expected but she had the air conditioning on so the place was cool and ready for us upon arrival. The only thin I can suggest, and it is merely a suggestion, not a criticism, is I wish there were potholders because there we used the air fryer and oven but had to use our own clothes to remove the pans from the oven. I hope when we return, this place will be available because I would like to return to this very apartment.

Very nice stay at Monica's apartment. It is a holiday apartment used by the family, not a soulless tourist accommodation. The highlight of the apartment is that it has 3 real bedrooms (which is rare or very expensive in Venao), and it is a minute walk to the beach. The surf partner store, Extreme Surf, is to use if you want to surf (or learn), they are adorable and offer very competitive rates. You should know that there are no washing machine in the apartment, but a laundry is a 5-minute walk away, you wash laundry by weight. Communication with Monica has always been friendly, always attentive and very helpful. So we left very happy with Venao.

Très bon séjour dans l'appartement de Monica. C'est un appartement de vacances utilisée par la famille, pas un logement touristique sans âme. Le point fort de l'appartement est qu'il a 3 vraies chambres (ce qui est rare ou alors très cher à Venao), et qu'il se trouve à une minute à pied de la plage. Le magasin de surf partenaire, Extreme Surf, est à utiliser si vous voulez surfer (ou apprendre), ils sont adorables et proposent des tarifs très compétitifs. Il faut savoir qu'il n'y a pas de lave linge dans l'appartement, mais une laverie à 5 minutes à pied vous lave le linge au poids. La communication avec Monica a été toujours sympathique, toujours à l'écoute et très serviable. Nous sommes donc repartis très contents de Venao.

Don’t think about it, just book! This is a super cute and comfortable rental in Playa Venao. The place was spotless and Monica was an amazing host! This is an awesome place to surf but also take advantage of the mangrove tours and excellent fishing. All the restaurants and shops are less than a 2min walk and the food is amazing. You will not regret booking this condo.

we really liked the location of the apartment and Monica's constant communication. However, the cleanliness of the place left a lot to be desired due to the lack of depth of it. We had constant problems with the stove that forced us to eat at restaurants one of the days. In addition, the microwave oven has a short that forced us to turn it off in the middle of two different cycles to make popcorn ( this is very dangerous) It's disappointing to pay what they charge and find that you can't enjoy such basic things. Monica explained a procedure to be able to turn on the stove that although we followed it one day I worked well and the other did not work for us. Put her guests to follow a procedure to run a team that must run smoothly is incorrect. I would not recommend this property and I would never go back to it although if we will go back to Playa Venao which we liked very much.

nos gusto mucho la ubicacion del apartamento y la comunicacion constante de Monica. no obstante, la limpieza del lugar dejaba mucho que desear por la falta de profundidad de la misma. tuvimos problemas constantes con la estufa que nos obligaron a comer en restaurantes uno de los dias. ademas, el horno microondas tiene un corto que nos obligo a apagarlo en meduo de dos ciclos diferentes para hacer pop corn ( esto es muy peligroso) Es decepcionante pagar lo que cobran y encontrar que no puedes disfrutar de cosas tan básicas. Monica explico un procedimiento para poder encender la estufa que aunque lo seguimos un dia funciono bien y el otro no nos funcionó. poner a sus huéspedes a seguir un procedimiento para hacer funcionar un equipo que debe funcionar sin problemas es erróneo. Yo no recomendaria esta propiedad y jamas volvería a la misma aunque si volveremos a Playa Venao que nos gustó mucho.

Que pena que sea el primer cliente que no nos ha calificado con 5 estrellas. Desde que llegó , sostuvo un comportamiento negativo y buscando encontrar alguna queja. Al cliente salir, se revisó el microondas y el mismo se encontraba en perfectas condiciones. Lamentamos que el cliente no agradeciera que en todas sus consultas a 10 minutos máximo había una persona asistiéndole y dejando su consulta en perfecto estado. Sobre el costo de apartamento, el cliente sabe que lo reservó en temporada de Semana el cual es mismo en todas partes del mundo,se duplica el costo. Estamos seguros que la pasó genial en un lugar tan mágico, lamentamos su actitud.

Monicas place was in a great location, had everything we needed.  Monica was quick with communication while we were there and the suite was clean.  My only complaint would be we were not told about the two week 'Reactor' festival hosted by the hotel that the condo is associated with.  There were some nights the music played from sunset to sunrise.  I was there with my kids and this is not what we were looking for.  If I was aware, I would have changed my reservation for a different time.

Excellent apartment to have a few days in Venao. As part of El Sitio, there is access to the pool and the restaurant. The apartment is located right behind the hotel, so very close to the play. It is comfortable, cozy and has everything you need (good wifi, good A/C, hot water, all the necessary artifacts). 100% recommended.

El apartamento está ubicado justo detrás del hotel por ende muy cerca de la play. Es cómodo, acogedor y tiene todo lo necesario (buen wifi, buen A/C, agua caliente, todos los artefactos necesarios). 100% recomendado.

Very good apartment located in the best place of Venao Beach, with the perfect waves to surf in front of the house. Very nice layout for the living room, terrace and the three bedrooms, perfect for our family of five. Being able to use the hotel facilities as the pool is a plus. The host was very attentive and hospitable. I would definitely go back.

Monica is very friendly and responsive. We had an issue with the microwave and it was resolved quickly. The condo is part of the El Sitio complex and so we were able to use El Sitio’s beach, covered cushioned loungers, & infinity pool. All within a short walk. The porch surrounding the condo was a huge plus and was where we hung out in the evenings and in the mornings before going to the beach. There are many restaurants within walking distance and a very nice grocery store. Both are expensive so bring all you can with you! There isn’t much storage space but the fridge is big and we used the DR table for other food items. The stove is an Invection type so took a while to figure out with Monica’s help. Good wifi and many kitchen appliances. All in all we had a great time!

Everything is very comfortable and in an excellent location. Monica is an excellent host, always attentive to every detail.

Monica’s place was perfect for our family vacation. Great location right on the beach with all the restaurants and shops around. The place was clean with air conditioning in the whole unit, hot water and a fully equipped kitchen. The outdoor sitting is a must, especially while enjoying a morning coffee. Monica was a great host, very responsive! We can’t wait to go back to Venao and stay at her place again.

Good stay, you feel right at home, there's nothing else to ask for, this space has it all.

The location is really wonderful as you’re right by the beach and the hotel’s amenities . It’s quiet and spacious and safe. It had all that we needed in terms of the basics for enjoying the beach and surroundings. The AC and wifi worked well. There was hot water and comfortable beds. I would definitely recommend this place for a large family or a couple of small families.

Excellent location steps from the beach, very quick response from Monica to any questions or requests. A well-equipped place to have a relaxing time without having to leave but with nearby options if you want to eat outside or have some nightlife.

Unit is on the second floor of a three-story building, but nobody is connected on the same floor. Spacious patio area with covered and uncovered areas. Beach sand is about 150' away. Very convenient location within the Venao area. All other businesses are very walkable. Nice TV. One of the bedrooms has a private bathroom and the other two bedrooms share the second bath. Shower only, no tub. Very comfortable unit, quiet, very casual. Great stay!

This was a simple, cozy, 3 bedroom condo near the beach. The kitchen had everything we needed to make quick and easy meals. We always love being right on the beach, but this condo was close enough that is was fine for us. The patio space wasn't super private, but it didn't matter too much since we spent most of our day at the beach. We  liked that we could take advantage of everything El Sito had to offer. Playa Venao is a unique experience with a great beach and some good restauarnts. We liked that we were not too close to the busier area of Venao. Monica was a great host and had quick and responsive communication with us.

The apartment is spectacular, the beach is a few steps from the place. We were delighted and would definitely return. Monica is an excellent host, attentive to any questions. 100/100.

The apartment is great! Clean, spacious, comfortable, quiet. The place is ideal for having a super quiet time with the family and also ideal for playing on the beach. Monica has thought of all the house details for the ideal stay. We cannot wait to return to this paradise.

This place is way too expensive for what you get. Everything is very cheaply furnished. Outside furniture is inside. There's no a nice place to sit out here. There was half a roll of toilet paper for two bathrooms and when I inquired about it, she said that was enough. If this place was half price it would be worth it but not at the current price. Needs a lot of attention.
