The Space
Villa Corazon is a contemporary villa built in 2019, situated near the beautiful beaches of Playa Grande, a spot popular with both surfers and families. Nestled in nature and close to an exotic forest, the villa is within walking distance of shops, cafes, and restaurants.
The property includes the main villa and a guest house, offering a total of three bedrooms, each with a modern private bathroom. The outdoor living area features a private pool and is comfortably shaded by a large roof. Under this covered space, you can barbecue, dine, relax on a sofa, or entertain guests.
Location
Located in a small community surrounded by trees, the villa is approximately 1.5 kilometers from Playa Grande beach, a renowned destination for surfers. Playa Grande is a small town adjacent to a national reserve, which keeps the area largely undeveloped while still providing several quality restaurants and shops.
While it is possible to explore the area on foot, having a car is recommended. Nearby towns such as Tamarindo and Flamingo are just a short drive away, offering additional dining options, activities, and excursions for adventure seekers.
Amenities
The outdoor living space is protected by a large rancho-style roof, shielding you from sun and rain. This area includes:
- An outdoor lounge with large cushioned armchairs
- A hanging rattan chair
- An outdoor dining table seating six people
- Two spacious lounge chairs beside the private swimming pool
- Terrace gardens filled with plants and flowers that attract various bird species
Inside, the central living area combines the living room, fully equipped kitchen, and dining room. The entire villa, including all three bedrooms, is air-conditioned and features large windows that let in plenty of natural light. Warm lighting throughout the indoor and outdoor spaces creates a cozy atmosphere in the evenings.
Two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms are located at opposite ends of the main building. The third bedroom is situated in a separate guest house (casita), also with its own private bathroom.
Guest Access
The villa offers private parking for one vehicle. Most shopping options are found along Route 933, the main street of Playa Grande, which leads directly to the beach. Guests will receive guides with recommendations for restaurants and other local spots.
Additional Information
Many services, including restaurants, cafes, and bars, are technically within walking distance. The beach is about a 20-minute walk via the main road. However, renting a car is advised, especially for grocery shopping since supermarkets are approximately a 7-minute drive away.
Having a car also makes it easier to explore the surrounding beaches, parks, and towns. Driving to the beach takes about 3 minutes, providing quicker access to the shore.
To ensure a peaceful environment, parties are not allowed on the property.

This was our first trip to Costa Rica, and I have to say we cannot be happier to have chosen this beautiful home to stay a few days in Playa Grande. We traveled with two kids, ages 8 and 6, and they absolutely loved it. There were so many things to do, from board games to the nice pool and all the beach amenities that the home provided. Claudine and Claire were very responsive and welcoming. The home is located in a great little community, but very private. The wildlife, beaches, and surroundings made this a perfect place to vacation. Lots of great options to eat and also very close to supermarkets and fruit stands to buy your own things and cook at home in this well-equipped kitchen. You really have it all in this amazing home, and we would choose to go there again in a heartbeat if we go to Costa Rica again.

À réserver sans hésiter: le logement était propre, très très bien équipé, et bien conçu. Chaque chambre a son intimité et sa salle-de-bain, et tout est tourné vers la charmante cour. Bonne communication des proprios!

La casa es simplemente hermosa. Igual como se muestra en las fotos. Esta en un lugar seguro y tranquilo. Es una casa cómoda con bien espacio y el área de la terraza es muy bonita y la piscina es justo lo que uno necesita. La cocina está súper bien equipada, de verdad no le hace falta nada, tienes todo lo que ocupes. Brindan toallas para la piscina, tienen una hielera que podemos usar. Tiene juegos y cosas para niños lo cual me pareció genial. Es pet friendly y esto para nosotros tiene un súper plus. Está cerca de hermosas playas como Playa minas, Playa conchal entre otras. La más cerca es playa grande pero esta no permite mascotas por lo que lastimosamente no pudimos visitarla, pero hay mascotas opciones cerca. Tienen restaurantes, súper mercados y centros médicos cerca. Nosotros la pasamos muy bien y definitivamente volveríamos.

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument mémorable entre amis ! La maison était d'une propreté impeccable et parfaitement équipée pour nos besoins. L'emplacement est idéal, à seulement quelques minutes de marche de plusieurs excellents restaurants. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été touchés par les petites attentions de Christian et Claudine : des fruits frais, du café et même une bouteille de mousseux nous attendaient. Claudine et Christian sont des hôtes incroyables, d'une grande disponibilité et toujours prêts à répondre à nos questions. Je recommande fortement cet endroit à Playa Grande! Merci encore pour tout!

The house is beautiful, the photos don’t do it justice. It exceeded our expectations. It is in a private setting where you can relax, unwind, and the best part is that you can hear the monkeys in the morning and evenings. Christian & Claude were very responsive to any questions we had and provided us with recommendations of places to eat and things to do in the area. The check-in and check-out process was very easy as well. It was a wonderful trip and we will definitely stay there again during our next trip!

Très belle villas et avec toutes les commodités pour la cuisine et autres....plage a 5 min en voiture exceptionnelle et très sécuritaire.

If we ever go back to the Playa Grande area we will absolutely be staying here again. They went above and beyond getting the place ready for us and communicating. There was even a small book inside for recommendations for nearly everything around their place. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone considering it!

Beautiful spot! Everything was so nicely decorated and setup. Comfortable furniture and well stocked with supplies and essentials when we arrived. 5-6pm sunsets on the beach were a highlight especially for my toddler ! We had 9 monkeys visit us in the trees near the pool which was amazing. Short drive to the beach / restaurants but I wouldn’t suggest walking. Only downside was there was quite a bit of wind which made the pool dirty often but didn’t stop us from using it. Would recommend! A hidden gem.
