Beautiful house and we loved the location! Hosts were responsive and very helpful and accommodating. There were some little things that probably needed a bit of maintenance — but it didn’t bother us enough to bring to attention of hosts, so that’s on us. Some of the furniture has shown its wear, but overall we had a great time and very much enjoyed our stay in Potrero!

Perfect location!!! So close to many restaurants and beaches!! We loved everything about our stay! Very safe location! Pool was wonderful! Great space for families or a small group!!!!! Hosts were wonderful! Can’t wait to return!!

The host were fantastic. Always prompt to respond to questions. They even met us at the home when we checked in to show us how things worked, locks etc. We were probably two hours late because of bridge construction and they were still at the house to meet us. Great food close buy and if you walk through a small field/open lot you are at the beach in less than 5 minutes walking.

We had a wonderful week in Potrero, the beach is beautiful and the Airbnb is walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The house is very bright and airy, the backyard is spacious and the pool is perfect size and ideal to cool down, we enjoyed it very much. Sayaka and Ian are very friendly and responsive, they were prompt to aid with issues during the week and made sure we were happy with our stay. There is a woodworking shop next door that uses power tools, but they take frequent breaks and don’t start work till after 9, it wasn’t ideal but not intolerable. I would recommend asking for two sets of keys if you are travelling with other adults that might want to go out at different times, as well as a key for the car gate in case of power outage to open manually. Overall we had a wonderful week. Thank you Sayaka for everything!

Overall, our stay was pleasant. The location was great for walkability. Our two families appreciated the quiet town and variety of grocery stores and restaurants. La Forketta, Cobak Sushi, and Carpe Diem were some favorites. The nearby areas (Flamingo and Brasilito) were nice for even more beach and dining options. The house was comfortable for the eight members in our group. Some noticings: There are no curtains in the house which made for early mornings with small children. Unfortunately, the pool was not fully usable for our duration. There were issues with filters and pumps which was a bit disappointing for the kids in our group. Ask for location of the alarm upon arrival so you can quickly turn it off. Ask for more direction on how to use the alarm easily for coming and going.

We really enjoyed our week at Casa Royal. The property is beautiful with many restaurants nearby. We enjoyed La Forketta, The Shack, Hemingways and The Beach House. We drove to Flamingo Beach where you can rent canopies and chairs. Coco Loco and Angelinas are great restaurants there and don't miss the Surfbox at the marina for breakfast. Ian gave us many excellent suggestions and was so helpful with any questions we had. The pool, jacuzzi and outside area are very nice. We enjoyed eating breakfast outside every morning and having drinks in the evening. We saw monkeys in the trees and iguanas in the yard. Only suggestion is to bring earplugs because the birds are quite loud in the early am. We were a group of eight and we all enjoyed this Costa Rica home.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour. La piscine était un atout pour notre séjour. Près de la plage et de beaux petits restaurants. Nous avons fait des activités dans les environs. C’était très accessible de la maison. Tout était propre, nous n’avons manqué de rien. Les hôtes ont été très disponibles. Petit point, on attendait les chiens japper du quartier. Et la maison, typique des pays chauds. Pas insonorisé comme au Canada. Mais ça fait parti du plaisir de voyager.
