Secluded Tropical Home

Great home base for our La Fortuna adventures. Away from the hustle of downtown but not too far. Easy drive to all our activities. Felt like a welcoming place to return after busy days of vacationing. The chill Great Dane that lives nearby might have been my favorite part

Marco's place is beautiful. Him and his daughter were extremely responsive. The home itself is beautiful in a great location but also secluded from the busy-ness of town. The home is a short walk from restruants and shops and is easily accessible by car as well. I highly recommend staying at Marco's place!

We had a great time at Marco’s place. The house and surrounding areas were beautiful and great spot for bird watching. Marco and family were super helpful. Location is good too, close to many activities. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Excellent experience with father / daughter team Marco and Leticia (and let’s not forget Emma :)! Super friendly people, a great place, beautiful surroundings / garden. Good location for tours, experiences and walkable to restaurants as well. House is beautiful and clean with an amazing deck, bbq, outdoor dining - can’t go wrong here!!

We loved it staying at Marco and Leticia‘s place. It was slightly outside the hustle and bustle of La Fortuna, a peaceful oasis filled with plants and birds. The house was homie and had everything we needed. Leticia and Marco are wonderful hosts- kind, responsive, and available. Leticia recommended her friend Raul for a tour, which was also great.

Beautiful house set in a tropical garden with lots of birds. Marco and his family couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. Highly recommend staying here.

This was a fantastic home that was clean, charming, and comfortable. Marco was a great host and helped us change our flat tire on the day of our checkout.

This was our second year at Marco’s in the green house and we enjoyed our trip again. This time, we met some friends, which was nice to share this special place with them. It’s clear Marco and Leticia work hard to make the property comfortable and enjoyable. We especially like the location within minutes of the La Fortuna “downtown,” yet peaceful in the tropics. It’s possible this will be an annual trip for us.

Marco and Leticia were wonderful hosts. Very responsive and attentive previous to and during the stay. The residence is a perfect location away from downtown but driveable in about 3-4 minutes. Easy to find and felt very secure. Beds were comfortable and tidy. We were 2 couples and had more than enough space. Would 100 percent stay there again.
