Dreamy C Backpackers Budget Pad

Dreamy contentment was perfection. From the hilarious troop of capuchin monkeys to the glorious beach just steps from the front yard to the yummy breakfast under the palm trees.

Dreamy Contentment is my home at Playa Matapalo. I’ve stayed multiple times in all of Carmen’s bungalows except her main house. Each is unique with comfortable accommodations and great views. I love the addition of the plants and table to backpackers creating it’s own personal courtyard. Thank you David, Kim and Yon for always making me feel like part of the family! See you next time :)

Sitio muy tranquilo enfrente al mar. Desayuno rico, lo único “negativo” es que en nuestro caso optamos por la habitación más económica y el baño estaba separado del dormitorio e hicieron días muy calurosos y en el baño se concentraba muchisimo el calor ya que no contaba con ningún extractor o ventilación. Pero no fue nada más que eso. Gracias por todo !!

Carmen’s Unterkunft hat eine super Lage - direkt am Strand. Ideal, um ein paar Tage auszuspannen. Das Zimmer hat ein separates Bad, das durch die Terrasse getrennt ist. Es ist etwas klein, aber die wunderschöne Lage am Meer macht das wet.

Lss personas encargadas del lugar fueron súper amables,atentas y serviciales. El espacio de la habitación en las fotos se veía más amplio y no se especificaba que el baño está afuera de la habitación y el wifi no llegaba a dentro del cuarto. No obstante, fue cómoda la cama, el A/C funcionó perfecto, las toallas de playa y baño de buena calidad, la verdad vale la pena quedarse ahí.

If I could give 6*, I would do it. It’s a real oasis of calm and peace we have never seen before. As soon as we arrived a helpful staff John took care of us and showed us everything, including the important info, where to watch the animals and tips for restaurants. Breakfast was also delicious! If we stayed longer, we’d probably cry that we have to leave. :)

Dreamy Contentment is what it say, a magical vortex of peace, ease, joy, beauty and exactly what I needed to restore and come back to life! a secret hidden gem with gorgeous beach that goes on and on and on! Breakfast on the beach, David and his partner and John were so helpful! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! in fact I'm goin back!

It’s on the beach. A beautiful location. We got an upgrade to a second floor apartment because the heavy rain flooded the whole area. It was very nice. The kitchen was well equipped and the shower very good. And a very good breakfast every morning. A great stay!

We spent 5 days at Playa Matapalo and loved it a lot - the place is beautiful, so close to the beach, quiet and we saw so many animals on the ground. The apartment was comfy and well equipped and daily breakfast on the porch was a great to start the day - so far the nicest place we stayed in Costa Rica.
