About Casa Galleria
Casa Galleria was established in memory of my grandfather, Paul Smith, a well-known local artist. Inside the house, you will find oil paintings that narrate the journey of his travels from Monteverde to Canada in his Vancar. Outside, ceramic mosaics depict animals native to the Monteverde region.
This safe, family-friendly home is centrally located, close to supermarkets, restaurants, and medical facilities.
The Space
This rustic house is where I was born and raised. Over time, we have updated the spaces to create a more modern living environment while preserving the charm and character of its original construction and location.
The property includes two houses. We reside in house #2 to be nearby should you require any assistance. In this house, we have a kitten named Chloe. If you have allergies or prefer not to be around animals, we can take measures to ensure she remains out of sight outdoors.
Guest Access
Our home is situated in Barrio Manakin, as the last house on the left. Entry is through a manual white gate.
Additional Information
- The living room is equipped with central air conditioning.
- Two portable fans are available in two of the rooms.
We are also the founders of a social help gym established in 2008. This gym operates without charging commissions or fees. Instead, we receive food donations, which we distribute to people who are at risk or ill. The funding for this initiative is supported by your stay and our ongoing efforts.

We had a wonderful stay at Stephanie and Luigie's! The location was ideal, within easy walking distance of lots of restaurants and shops. Easy check-in, secure parking, and the house was well equipped and beautiful. Stephanie was very communicative and gave great activity recommendations for our family. It was the perfect base for our time in Monteverde - I just wish we could have stayed longer!

The property has so much character and was perfect for our trip to Monteverde. Stephanie was very responsive and was even willing to share some of her delicious coffee beans with us! Absolutely recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Der Aufenthalt und die Unterkunft war wunderschön und die Kommunikation hervorragend! Auch die Katze Chloe war ein 5. Mitbewohner bei uns und hat uns eine tolle Gesellschaft geleistet. Wir hatten ein WLAN Problem was von den beiden sie schnell wie möglich gelöst wurde. 5 Sterne sind nicht genug! Es war ein Traum❤️
