Enjoy waking up to a delicious freshly brewed, roasted coffee from Santa Isabel. The space Santa Isabel’s weather is perfect all year round, usually waking up to a fresh nice weather around 65 degrees Fahrenheit, going up at noon up to 75 degrees and then dropping back down at night. Harvest season takes place between October and February. You and your family can learn firsthand how the harvesting process is done. From February to September, the farm is a splendid sight to watch, where the coffee plants are transforming from white flowers to perfect coffee beans. There are many activities to do on the farm, such as horseback riding, play soccer, family board games, puzzles or watch a movie at the mezzanine. Guest access Guests have access to all the property. It provides a peaceful escape from the busy pace of everyday life, allowing guests to unwind amidst stunning mountain scenery, beautiful sunsets, and a coffee plantation.

## The Space

Santa Isabel enjoys pleasant weather year-round, typically starting the day around 65°F, warming to about 75°F by noon, and cooling down again at night. During the harvest season from October to February, guests can experience the coffee harvesting process firsthand. From February through September, the farm showcases a captivating transformation as coffee plants bloom white flowers and develop into ripe coffee beans.

The lodge offers various activities for all ages, including:

- Horseback riding  
- Soccer  
- Family board games and puzzles  
- Watching movies in the mezzanine  

Guests can also enjoy waking up to freshly brewed, roasted coffee from Santa Isabel while listening to the morning calls of howler monkeys and a variety of exotic birds.

- The drive from Managua to San Ramon is on paved concrete roads.

- A representative from Santa Isabel will meet guests in San Ramon and escort them to the farm.

AMAZING!!! By far the most beautiful home and surroundings I’ve ever stayed at! The views were spectacular, it was so peaceful and relaxing. We were able to ride horses around the coffee farm and it was an incredible experience. Everyone there was super friendly and welcoming, thank you Roberto, Oscar, Danilo and Mercedes.

It was magic, the combination of nature, views, peace, cleanliness, attentions. I will recommend this place always. All the staff are very nice and friendly but Mercedes makes us feel like we were just at home with family. My kids loved it horses, monkeys, toucans, birds etc.

Beautiful private modern mountain home located on top of a huge coffee farm. My family traveled all of Nicaragua with this home being our absolute favorite rental property in the country. The home is located up a remote mountain road from San Ramon where 4x4 is highly recommended. Make sure you pickup all you need for your stay before arriving at the home b/c once you arrive you’ll never want to leave this peaceful magical place. When you arrive at the home you’ll be greeted by the amazing staff that is so helpful and friendly and makes you feel right at home. The room accommodates are perfect for family/friends to have a clean, comfortable, and relaxing stay. The main home has everything you need for cooking family meals, to playing games, or just finding a comfortable spot to read or nap. Our favorites were the amazing views, daily horseback rides, the soccer field games, bird watching, the sound system, and all the staff especially Mercedes! Our stay was an absolute dream adventure!

Santa Isabel’s Mountain Lodge greatly exceeded my expectations. There are many beautiful Airbnb's available in Nicaragua, what sets Santa Isabel apart is the team's hospitality (Mercedes and Roberto will take care of you), attention to detail (mint and lemon water, every towel/blanket in the house smells fresh, very clean), and list of available activities for both children and adults (horses, trails, firepit and marshmallow skewers for smores). The host was very friendly and responsive with plenty of instructions and advice to properly prepare for a mountain house vacation. I'd highly recommend this Airbnb for a peaceful trip to a beautiful location.

Amazing host. Amazing property. I can’t wait to come back. I would come back just to visit the staff. They are incredible people. I want to thank Isabel for not only sharing her home but being so accommodating. I travel with my family that ranges of age and mobility. Isabel quickly put ramps because I told her I would be with my grandma who is in a wheel chair. It got done so fast I was in shock. The property is so beautiful, you won’t be disappointed. Worth every penny! Isabel communicated with us well in advance. Mercedes was our cook and kitchen person throughout our stay, which made our experience at the Airbnb that much more memorable! She was very sweet and helpful. I’m so grateful Isabel allows her home to be rented because it was a treat! The place is super private, a journey to get to but worth the time. It’s nice and chilly. They have a lot of things/activities to do in the common area. The bedroom situation is fantastic. My family of 13 people stayed comfortably. The beds were so cozy. The bedsheets smell very clean. It’s honestly in my top 3 best airbnbs. Book it! Don’t think about it twice

Gorgeous property and super comfy & clean cabin style rooms. Lovely sheets and blankets! So relaxing. The kids loved riding the horses, the tire swing and soccer field. The adults loved the relaxed setting, help in the kitchen and birding!

We had a wonderful stay in Santa Isabel! The good experience started with Isabel, very friendly and always attentive to us! We coordinate check-in without a problem. The photos do not do justice to the property. If you're looking for a city getaway, this estate has everything for it (recommended for kids, by the way). An excellent balance between luxury and rustic. The staff was wonderful, Mercedes (the lady who helps with cleaning/cooking) is an angel. We're sure to come back!

Las fotos no hacen justicia a la propiedad. Si buscan un getaway de la ciudad, esta finca tiene todo para ello (recomendado para niños, por cierto). Un excelente balance entre el lujo y lo rústico. The lodge sits on a coffee farm and has the most amazing view. On either side of the main lodge (living room, kitchen, dining room, covered deck, play room, library) is a pod with 2 bedrooms. Everything is well appointed and there is no lack if amenities. This is a great place for a group of friends or families to spend time together. Matagalpa is not too far away (30min) if you need groceries (but I recommend to just bring everything) and there is a cool waterfall at a 20-minute-drive (cascada blanca). On the property itsef are plenty of trails to walk. We had a great stay. We will definitey be back! And we would totally recommend this place.
