"La Casita" is a modern, air-conditioned two-story living space with a kitchen, living room, upstairs bedroom and balcony, outdoor sitting pool, and tropically landscaped yard. The apartment is only a150 meter walk to the beach for those looking for a convenient location, private setting, with easy access to the center of Puerto Jimenez (3-minute car ride) and many other nearby beach and rainforest activities. The quiet, beachfront neighborhood is well known by locals and guides alike. The space The apartment shares a property with a larger house, "Casa Adobe" and a second smaller home, "La Villa" (also available for rent). The area, referred to by locals as Pueblo Viejo, Barrio Gaviotas, or Gringolandia, is well known as a quiet, convenient neighborhood for those looking to base their visit to the Osa close to the center of Puerto Jimenez, but still surrounded by tropical vegetation and wildlife. The apartment was remodelled in July 2019 and offers a hot water shower and air conditioning. We hope you enjoy your experience. Guest access La Casita is easily accessible right off the main road by car, bike, boat, or even walking (10-minute walk to town).

There was nice lady who I think is the owner's mom and she helped with what she could. The check in is unnecessarily difficult. Instructions are never provided and when you get there you realize that there's no phone signal no matter the carrier. I had to drive back like 500 meters to get phone signal and be able to call the host. Simple check in instructions would have saved us time and made our check in smooth. The internet is like 5MB and it goes on and off. So while we were there it was difficult for us to communicate with our employees and take care of our business. The place is not very well maintained. I reached out through the airbnb chat but got no response. It's not a good deal. $300 for two nights was too much for what we got. I was expecting more. Pros: The location is convenient and close to groceries, restaurants and the beach.

It’s a good spot if you’re open to figuring things out as you go. The price point vs what you get in return is decent for the area. The pool is a nice touch. When we needed something (gas ran out in the kitchen in the middle of preparing dinner) it was tended to, but not until the next day, which is understandable. It was a little buggy (ants) but, for the most part, they kept to themselves. We did have access to laundry and Jenny's mother was really helpful when we needed her.

Thank you for a lovely place to stay Jenny. When we arrived we realized that one of the beds that was shown in the photos was no longer there, we reached out to Jenny and thankfully she responded very quickly and resolved the problem. We had a short stay here and it was comfortable for us while we stayed. Thanks Jenny and Jenny’s Mom!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, ruhige u private Lage. wunderschön die Tiere-stimmen am Morgen und am Abend. Pool war lauwarm u trotzdem cool ;-)

Die Unterkunft war für zwei Personen groß und innen schön eingerichtet. Die Lage des Hauses ist ruhig. Das Zentrum von Puerto Jimenez ist in ca. 5 min mit dem Auto erreichbar. Die Fotos (hauptsächlich der Außenanlage) entsprachen leider nicht ganz dem aktuellen Zustand, sodass wir das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis als nicht optimal ansehen. Der Check-In war umständlich. Die Unterkunft wurde zum Check-In noch geputzt, sodass wir ca. 1 Stunde warten mussten. Dazu war die Unterkunft nicht leicht zu finden, da es von außen keine Kennzeichnung gibt. Insgesamt waren wir zufrieden.

Kurz knapp: absolute Empfehlung. Wir haben uns ab der ersten Sekunde sehr wohl gefühlt, das Haus hat alles was man braucht um ein paar schöne Tage zu verbringen. Die Kommunikation und die Empfehlungen von Jenny waren klasse. Und ich mochte den Grundriss und die Art des Hauses sehr! Ihr habt ein tolles airbnb ❣️

Vor der Ankunft noch Kontakt zur Vermieterin gehabt, beim Check-In teilte man uns mit (angeblicher Bruder der Vermieterin), dass das gebuchte Apartment belegt sei. Man gab uns ein anderes auf dem Grundstück. Da wir nur zwei Tage hatten, war es uns erstmal egal. Kann somit das gebuchte Apartment nicht bewerten. Leider wurde ich auch nicht von der Vermieterin im Anschluss kontaktiert (kann man erwarten) und es wurde sich nicht entschuldigt. Ich glaube, hier wird mehrmals das gleiche Apartment vermietet. Wer als letztes kommt hat halt Pech gehabt. Anlage ist schön, Pool war sauber. Umgebung gibt nicht wirklich viel her, außer der Nationalpark steht auf dem Programm.

Und hat es sehr gut gefallen. Morgens waren wir erst im Pool und haben die Vögel, vor allem die Aras beobachtet. Am Hafen konnte man gut essen und sitzen.

Our stay was fantastic! We had a change of plans and needed to stay in Puerto Jimenez at the last minute and Jenny was able to accommodate us. It was just what we needed, quiet and peaceful. The pool was great and we enjoyed meeting Jenny's sweet mother during check in. Jenny's communication was great. We highly recommend!
