The Space
Our roomy, rustic cabin is nestled within a vibrant cloud forest teeming with wildlife. Positioned away from immediate neighbors, the home offers privacy while remaining easily reachable from the main road. Built with care by a local family who has long lived in the area, the cabin is thoughtfully furnished to provide a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere from the moment you arrive.
Imagine waking to the gentle melodies of birdsong and the crisp, fresh scent of the Monteverde cloud forest. Start your day with a walk along our private trail, which features carefully placed resting spots perfect for connecting with nature and reflecting on the serene environment.
You may encounter playful monkeys, inquisitive coatis, and delightful armadillos during your stay. The abundant flowering trees attract a wide variety of bird species, making this an excellent destination for bird watchers.
Enjoy warm, sunny days from either of the two balconies. On rainy afternoons, you can relax indoors while watching the dense fog drift through the forest.
Location
Just a brief walk down the road leads to a breathtaking viewpoint where the mountains meet the Pacific Ocean. This spot offers spectacular sunset views and is a perfect place to appreciate the natural beauty of the area.

It is a wonderful place to stay! We saw a lot of wildlife from the terrace. Close to main attractions. Very clean and comfortable.

A beautiful house which has clearly been built with a lot of love and care. There was loads of space for 5 of us and my 3 teens were delighted to have a room each. The kitchen is very well equipped and everything was spotlessly clean. Communication with Catalina and Ernesto was excellent. So lovely to be in the forest. We heard and saw so many birds and saw coatis behind the house. The only drawback was that at the time of our stay, some neighbours were running a generator for some building work which did disturb the peace and quiet during the daytime. Overall a great place to stay.

Das Haus ist ruhig inmitten von hohen Bäumen gelegen. Es ist gemütlich und stilvoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Wir haben uns als Familie sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt, um den Nationalpark Monteverde und Umgebung zu besuchen und in der Natur zur Ruhe zu kommen. Wir können das Haus sehr empfehlen.

Nice big cabin in the forest in Monteverde. Lots of place for our family of 5. Close to town and all the activities. Bring warm clothes for the cloud forest, be ok with some bugs and dont rely too much on hot showers. Unique place and great communication.

It’s an amazing property, yes there are small little bugs at times but you are in the jungle.. it’s absolutely an amazing place

We loved our stay at the cabin and wished we could stay longer. The location is ideal for exploring Monteverde Cloud Forest which is only a few minutes drive up the road. The cabin is cozy but spacious with plenty of room for our family of 5. The balconies were a wonderful place to enjoy my morning coffee surrounded by the forest.
