The place had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The shared pool is beautiful, and the gated community is quiet and convenient. The roads are unpaved, but we had no trouble getting there with a 4x4. It’s only about a 5-minute drive to Playa Avellanas and around 30–45 minutes to Tamarindo or Conchal, depending on road conditions and your driving speed. We really enjoyed our stay.

A very nice and comfortable place to go as a family. Well located, quiet and safe. Close to the beach and amenities. Carl was very helpful at all times. Surely we'll be back!!

This home was spotless, and the location was great. Short drive to the beach and restaurants. We had a couple small issues and Carl was very responsive.

We had such a wonderful stay! It was our first time in Avellanas, and we absolutely loved it. Carl’s place was exactly as pictured, with a beautiful pool we enjoyed all week. The homes have a fresh, modern feel and the area was incredibly peaceful and quiet. While the beach was a short drive, slightly farther than we expected, it’s in a beautiful, safe area that made it well worth it. We loved the restaurants and coffee shop in Avellanas and the beach itself is stunning! We had an amazing trip!

We had the most beautiful and relaxing month-long stay in Costa Rica at Carl’s home in The Enclave. The house is absolutely gorgeous and just steps from the pool, which made it so easy to unwind and enjoy every day. The beach is about a 20-minute walk away. Part of the walk is along dirt roads, so definitely bring good running shoes — but the walk is completely doable and so worth it. The beach itself is stunning, with the most breathtaking sunsets every evening. There are also several great restaurants within walking distance, and you’ll pass most of them on your way to the beach, which made dinners out easy and enjoyable. Carl was an exceptional host. He was extremely attentive, answered all of our questions promptly, and checked in on us throughout our stay to make sure everything was going well. We truly felt taken care of. The Enclave is a gated community, which made us feel very safe and comfortable for our entire stay. I would highly recommend staying here if you’re looking f

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was perfect: a beautiful condo, ideally located with an incredible swimming pool. The nearby beaches are superb and the restaurants excellent. A small need arose during our stay and Carl fixed it very quickly. Which we greatly appreciated. We will keep great memories of this stay. Thank you for everything!

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour. Tout était parfait : un condo magnifique, idéalement situé avec une piscine incroyable. Les plages à proximité sont superbes et les restaurants excellents. We had a wonderful stay. The place was beautiful, very clean, spacious, and well-equipped. We especially loved the pool, the outdoor seating area, and the barbecue — everything was perfect for a relaxing vacation. Carl, the owner, was extremely kind, responsive, and always available for any question we had. We truly enjoyed our time here and can’t wait to come back on our next vacation!

We spent four nights in this rather new house. The house had almost everything one needed. There were plenty of restaurants in the neighborhood. The nearby beach was fantastic and good reachable in walking distance. The only negative things were that there was too little dishes and cutleries. There was only one tab for the dishwasher so that we were forced to wash everything by hand. We asked for tabs but the despite the promise that they will be delivered next morning nothing happened. All in all a good house that we can recommend.

Bonjour Vince, Je m'excuse pour le savon à vaisselle. Je prends personnellement la responsabilité. Cependant, pour la vaisselle et les couverts, il y en a assez pour 4 personnes. Le tort de l'administrateur c'est de promettre quelque chose et de ne pas le réaliser : c'est inacceptable. Merci de me l'avoir signalé !

Carl was an absolutely amazing host, from the point of us getting to the villa to dealing with an issue that we had, he was gracious, respectful, and wanted to make sure that our time in his home was exceptional. I would highly recommend him and his exceptionally well equipped kitchen to all travelers.

Our family of four loved this home and the location! Carl was an extremely responsive and helpful host.  The home is modern and well designed with a great kitchen and huge bathrooms. One of the highlights was the quick access to the huge pool which we often had to ourselves.  The home is within a gated community with well maintained grounds, surrounded by nature and a quick drive to the beach and great restaurants.   We would highly recommend it and hope to return.

We had a wonderful stay in Enclave in Avellanas. The home was comfortable and the large pool was the highlight of the property. Even though it’s shared we rarely saw anyone. Carl was very attentive and responsive. Would recommended this place to anyone. It is also family friendly.

Nice apartment and location, host extremely friendly. Internet should be improved, however this place will be a great deal for everyone.

We had an amazing experience in this house! The accommodation exceeded our expectations: the house is wonderful, very well-equipped, comfortable and decorated in very good taste. The location in the high-end condominium guaranteed tranquility, security and easy access to the beach. They were perfect days, and we truly felt at home.

This place was awesome! Super clean, modern, and the pool right outside the terrace makes you want to stay there all day. The kitchen is huge, and the best part—it’s just 5 minutes from Playa Avellanas. Beautiful beach, white sand, great for surfing or a morning run. Lots of cool restaurants nearby, like Il Rustico (amazing food + gluten-free options) and Lola’s, right on the beach. Markets are close too. The drive here is scenic and beautiful, and the neighbors are chill. The hosts are super responsive and always available if you need anything. We would definitely come back!
