We just returned for from 9 days in Nosara. The first half of the trip we stayed at a high end hotel, the second half we rented Marcel's home. Our time at Marcel's was incredible. The house is exactly as described and photographed. The house was extremely peaceful, with INCREDIBLE views. Annabelle was fantastic in helping us check-in and out. We visited the house with our two kids (9 and 11) and invited my brother to stay with us. The property functioned perfectly for us, the separate bedroom / guest house worked perfectly for my brother and our family was more than comfortable in the main house. We have barely been home a day and are already looking at dates to stay the house next year!

Nosara was a beautiful place to visit, the ocean view was perfect and able to see the sunset each night. The home was perfect and will definitely stay again on our next visit. Check-in was easy and the host helped us with restaurant suggestions that we absolutely loved.

Our family of 4 along with my mom had an amazing experience. Enjoyed the pool, view, proximity to town and the surf and beaches, etc. The host Annabelle was exception with questions and recs. Would love to stay here again in the future. No recommendations for improvement.

This was an awesome place for our stay in Nosara. The view is better than the pictures and the location is ideal if you want to be close driving distance to the beaches and main centre, but also have the ocean views and nature etc. Loved eating cold watermelon every morning on the patio with the fresh ocean breeze. Lots of wildlife here too. There is a road that runs just below the property, so the motorbikes can be noisy, but this didn’t really affect the tranquility of the place or enjoyment of our stay. Hopefully, the current ATVs will be banned in Nosara soon… noisy engines! Overall, a great place for relaxation, health and healing. Would definitly stay here again.

We had a fabulous week in Nosara celebrating my 60th birthday with family. The villa is exactly as it appears on Airbnb - stunning views, jaw-dropping sunsets, well appointed bedrooms, living area, kitchen and outside terrace. We made full use of the outdoor grill/BBQ. The villa is in a perfect location, close to the beach and local town (Guiones) but you need a car for sure. Make sure you check out the Huacas restaurant at Tierra Magnífica hotel, just 1km from the villa. Co-host Anabelle was always very responsive. Thank you, Marcel.

Villa Colibri is a gem! Beautifully designed and executed. Truly as advertised. For a small group it’s a perfect location up the hill in Nosara! Everything about our stay was terrific. Comfortable beds, good kitchen and outdoor kitchen, everything worked, and well serviced. We will come again!
