Wow! Gustavo, Moises, Beatriz, Mileidy, and the other staff filling in on their days off were incredible. The food and value that Gustavo and Moises provided were wonderful. Beatriz and Mileidy kept the place perfectly clean. It truly was a vacation because of the staff.

The house was as described. Pool had no steps to enter or exit. Pool towels few for our number of guests. We washed a load nightly as maid service did not have any ready til noon. Bonfires cost extra, ocean stuff extra, 5 gallon water bottles extra. I felt nickeled and dimed for everything. Other locations we visited, these are included. Food good but descriptions need work. Not a fan of wet cakes. Several crabs in the house on lower level. Doors did not seal so easy entrance for pests. Bedroom and bathrooms did not have locks and doors were loud closing and hinges squeaked. Lower bedroom to left had no hot water in shower, all shower drains very slow. Multiple flushes per toilet use. Wood floors made squeaking noise when walking on them. Very noisy house. Very dark house. Lower level and stairs dungeon like. East to get to grocery stores and town from beach. Ocean itself was quiet and safe.

Maria was very helpful in helping a family of 23 people plan a week of fun. She assisted us in organizing several activities including river floating, nature walks, deep sea fishing, a private catamaran excursion, zip-lining, massages, arranging golf cart rentals and even a surprise birthday dinner for a family member, complete with flowers & a photographer. She made the process easy from the start. The staff took such great care of all of us. Gustavo, Moises, Leidi, Beatrice and the entire team did everything possible to ensure a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The meals prepared were delicious, the bartending services, maintaining our rooms clean and fresh and even washing our clothes daily was amazing. The amenities were endless, including access to kayaks & paddle boards. We were beyond impressed. For a group of our size, with ages ranging from 6 years old to 78 years old, they made each & every one of us feel special and we are beyond grateful. Thank you Casa Taj for a great stay!

The staff was incredible! They were gracious, friendly and helpful. Food was amazing every night! We recommend using the Bartender services! Moses made great pinacoladas and Miami vices as well as mojitos and anything we asked! The location was great. Not too far from local restaurants and markets. One thing I was surprised was I thought the house came with the kayaks and paddle boards but was charged an extra $100. Beautiful space, highly recommend! Loved being right on the water!

We had an amazing time at Casa Taj! We booked the house to hose our wedding event and we can’t say enough about how incredible both the location and the property were. The views were absolutely unforgettable, and the house itself felt like something out of a fairytale—perfect for a dream wedding. Beyond the special day, we spent eight unforgettable days enjoying everything Casa Taj had to offer. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, providing the perfect place to unwind. The staff was incredible—the chef prepared delicious breakfasts and dinners, and the maids were so efficient we barely noticed they were there! The house had everything we needed, and if we wanted anything extra, it was just a short golf cart ride or walk into town to pick it up. Evenings were magical as we watched the sunset over the ocean, and we spent several days swimming and relaxing. This house is truly extraordinary, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect getaway to enjoy Potrero!

We had a wonderful family union at Britta's home in Potrero, CR. There were 16 family members coming from all over the USA for an extended family reunion. It was the best gathering we have ever had. The location made it perfect. We loved the outdoor spaces. It made it so easy and comfortable for us to gather and visit. The staff and chef's made our visit so comfortable. We all felt pampered. We are so grateful for the care from the staff...so helpful, kind and generous. We hope we can come back again sometime. We all agreed that one week is not enough. Thank you for making our family reunion the BEST EVER!!!

My family felt at home/loved the place: boys loved the pool and beach front access, my parents enjoyed their sunsets balcony side, everyone enjoyed Chef Gustavos breakfast and dinner prepared daily. We did 3 excursions: ***Catamaran - so much fun for the entire family and we saw whales! *Monteverde hike/zip line - it was too far and spent most of our time I'm transit. The kids had the most fun with the zip line. However, the description was outdated. There are no hummingbirds sadly. For the price we paid it failed to WOW the entire group unfortunately. ***Leona waterfall hike and swim - saved the best for last. The entire group enjoyed every part of this excursion. Amazing hike through the caves as well as swimming in the river and at the end where there is a beautiful waterfall. Some downside: -Catamaran crew told us they were not told about Vegetarian option and dietary/allergy restrictions -LOST power for an hour at the villa. Not sure what happened.
