The Space
Nosara Treehouses features two architect-designed luxury treehouses nestled among the treetops and accessed via elevated footbridges, offering a unique and enchanting experience. This listing is for the treehouse named Star.
Star is pentagonal in shape, resembling a five-pointed star, and includes:
- Two air-conditioned bedrooms, each furnished with a comfortable king-size bed, a closet, and a desk
- One bathroom with an indoor shower and essential toiletries
- High-speed fiber optic Wi-Fi with battery backup to maintain connection during power outages
- An open-concept living area with a TV and a fully equipped kitchen, including an oven, stove, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, pots, pans, and dishes
- A dining table seating four people
- A wrap-around terrace with lounge chairs to enjoy daytime wildlife and nighttime starry skies
- A private plunge pool for cooling off and relaxation
- Free parking space for one vehicle
- Linens, bath towels, pool towels, and beach towels provided
Both treehouses share access to a storage bodega equipped with a washer and dryer, as well as a board rack for surfboards. There is also an outdoor shower for rinsing off after the beach and a communal sun deck with sun loungers.
Location
The property is situated on a large jungle lot, providing a peaceful retreat away from busy areas. It is just a few minutes’ walk along scenic jungle trails to two of the world’s most beautiful beaches: Playa Pelada and Playa Guiones.
During the day, guests can enjoy the presence of birds and monkeys surrounding the treehouse, while at night, the sky fills with stars.
Guest Access
Guests have exclusive use of their treehouse, including the private deck and plunge pool. Shared access is granted to the bodega with board storage, washer and dryer, and the communal sun deck.
Important Notes
- Due to the elevated height of the treehouse, it is not suitable for individuals who may be at risk of climbing over or through the railings.
- The property is located in the jungle, so some insects are inevitable despite screened windows.
- Ambient noise from the ocean, wildlife, and nearby human activity may be heard, including music, motorcycles, and howler monkeys. Light sleepers may want to bring earplugs.
- Power outages occasionally occur, but flashlights are provided, and electricity is usually restored quickly. Internet connectivity is supported by backup batteries.

The Star Treehouse was incredible. Everything was really well designed, in function and in finish. Comfortable beds with nice linens and AC made for great sleeping. Chloe is a fabulous host; great recommendations and super responsive. We highly recommend staying and hope to be back!

Perfect spot for our two nights in Nosara! Fun walk to La Luna for a sunset dinner and easy to drive to fanatic other restaurants. Wonderful slice of privacy in an otherwise busy town

We had an amazing stay at the treehouse. Check-in instructions were clear and the location was easy to find which we appreciated because we arrived at about 9:30 after a very long day of travel. The space was lovely and comfortable and we loved waking up and hanging out on the porch listening to the birds and the coatis roaming around. The local recommendations from Chloe were super helpful and we used them to book tours and find places to eat. I need to see a doctor when I was there and Chloe was responsive and helpful in recommending where to go. We will definitely return and had a wonderful stay.

My wife and I stayed at Star Treehouse for 3 nights with another couple and we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Nosara. The highlights: -Beautiful jungle views and seeing wildlife every day -Ability to open up all the windows and doors. It was plenty shaded so it was nice to have the breeze come in! -Chilling in the hammock and reading a book. -Plunge pool was super refreshing in the Nosara heat -Comfy beds -AC in the bedrooms -Proximity to Nosara Wellness. Loved yoga and massages! -The wonderful guide Chloe provided so we could book activities ahead of time. (Agua Tibia Surf School, La Luna Restaurant, Coyol Restaurant, Monkey Head Adventures, & Iris TukTuk!) -Chloe was super responsive whenever we had a question or comment. -Ability to walk through the jungle to "DT" Guiones and the beaches. Two notes: 1. Walking path is just outside the property with the red framed arch. 2. Just like most establishments in the area, you'll need to dispose of toilet paper in the waste bin.

Chloe was the absolute best host. Always responsive and had great recommendations. The treehouse was beautiful and comfortable. Loved being high up near the monkeys.

Experiência única, na altura da copa das árvores, com uma sensação gostosa de abrir as janelas com as árvores no entorno. Casa bem equipada de móveis e utensílios. Até jogos para aproveitar o momento. Casa fica mais afastada da rua principal e da praia. Apenas tive problemas no checkout, sendo desagradável o processo de saída da casa.

We loved our time at the treehouse! Super close to the beach, restaurants, etc. but the privacy and 360 views are unbeatable. Highly recommend!
