Beautiful home, but disappointing experience with the host. (Helen) The house itself was beautiful — clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host initially was welcoming but then became unresponsive. Unfortunately, the experience with the taxi arranged through Helen was not good. We were told the taxi would arrive in 10 minutes but waited about 30. The driver picked up another passenger along the way and was rude when we arrived, demanding more money than the amount originally mentioned. We paid what he asked — and immediately the host messaged us saying we hadn’t paid enough, even though we explained that we gave him what he requested. After that, we never received a response. Our first morning at 8:46 am the power went out. Again left on read with no response. The house itself was great, but we’d recommend arranging everything else on your own as the host was unresponsive after the first day. Unprofessional.

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön. Wir hatten einen Strand ganz für uns allein und auch Möglichkeiten für Wassersport. Helen kocht auf Wunsch für die Gäste und es ist nur zu empfehlen. Sie ist eine großartige Köchin. Ich würde diese Unterkunft wieder buchen.

Magnifique résidence pour passer quelques jours au calme face à la mer. Quelques attentions, rares d'habitude dans les logements, sont ici précieuses : serviettes largement en suffisance (même pour la plage), prêt de planches de body surf, possibilité de se faire préparer un repas servi dans le logement. Il y a de l'eau chaude dans les douches (ce qui est rare au Nicaragua). Attention si vous venez avec des enfants en bas-âge : les lits du haut ne sont pas sécurisés (mais on y dort très bien!).

Don was great. Only had the pleasure to meet him a few times but he was very polite. The spot is amazing and just as described. The place was very clean, the AC worked great and the staff was wonderful. The optional breakfast is a must and is definitely worth the price. I ordered every morning. The balance between privacy and giving us help was excellent and I recommend this place to anybody wanting to see the beauty of Corn Island.

Wonderful place to relax and chill out. Grocery store is about a 15 minute walk down the road and if walking isn’t your thing then It’s also really easy to cab everywhere for cheap. The wonderful lady looking after the place suggested we go to the big baseball tournament happening on the island. It was a wonderful recommendation and locals were very welcoming. Corn island does not play around when it comes to baseball and are very passionate about their team! She is also a great cook and recommend the lobster! Thanks for welcoming us into your wonderful cozy place.

Una casa bien cuidada y con unas vistas bonitas. Es verdad que necesitas transporte para moverte de la zona a otros sitios, ya que ahí no hay mucho que hacer. LA playa es de arena fina y blanca muy grande.
