Our family spent an unforgettable week at The Pura Vida Villa in Jaco, and words can’t capture how grateful we are to Matthew and the Rich Coast Villas team. From before we arrived, Matthew was exceptional—thoughtful, responsive, and incredibly knowledgeable—helping plan every detail, from tours and reservations to special surprises, ensuring our trip was seamless, safe, and unforgettable. The villa is beyond breathtaking—a hidden, private paradise just steps from downtown. From the moment the gates opened, we were in awe. We felt completely safe and cared for, knowing Matthew was always just a call or text away. For example: when our proposal photographer didn’t show, Matthew stepped in—arriving within minutes with an amazing photographer who captured the moment beautifully. He then created a stunning celebration with photos, flowers, candles, and champagne. It felt like having our own private luxury resort. Zero complaints, absolute perfection, and memories we will cherish forever

This place is above and beyond in all respects. Great care has been made in theming each room and the quality and care shows. The house is perfect for entertaining and fun! The pool and hot tubs are clean and a perfect temperature. The basketball court was a hit. The kitchen is small but well-stocked. We used the local concierge to bring pizza and snacks, as recommended by the hosts. Matthew was responsive and attentive to our every need. You can hear howler monkeys at night - this place is magical. We will be back!

Jessie and Matthew’s hospitality is beyond expectations! Communication was always on point, great recommendations, and their accommodations for the group were amazing. I didn’t have to do much research and planning as our hosts knew of all the fun & trendy spots & excursions go true. They booked everything for us AND helped with transportation. We were so grateful for all their help & services! Not to mention, the house is absolutely STUNNING. I kept getting lost at times haha. Would 1000% recommend this stay, we didn’t want to leave!

We had an incredible stay in Costa Rica for a bachelor party, and this place absolutely exceeded expectations. From the moment we arrived, we knew we picked the perfect spot. The house somehow looked even better in person than it did in the photos. Every room in the house was fantastic, but the standout was the unbelievably cool treehouse-style room. The amenities throughout the property were amazing—the pool was perfect for hanging out all day, and having things like the steam room, hot tubs, and basketball court made the place feel like a private resort. Our host was truly unbelievable. They went above and beyond with recommendations and helped organize everything from a private chef to a pool party, and were always available if we needed anything. It made planning the weekend completely stress-free. The location was also perfect—just a quick ride to the downtown area and even a walk to the beach. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. 10 stars!!!

This experience was absolutely amazing! It was a last-minute itinerary change for us and the team there was overly accommodating. They helped us get everything organized, were quick to respond, and were great when asked for advice on things to do. They even helped us book excursions! The location was epic and the kids had an absolute blast there. Matthew was a life saver!

This place was amazing! Mathew helped us prep for our trip of 12 of us. It was all close friends. We used Chef Jonathan twice (one time for dinner and another for Brunch, it was awesome! We did massages, surf lessons, lots of spots to see via walking distance too! LOVED our stay!

Without a doubt, the best place to stay in Jaco. Honestly, this was the nicest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. We had 10 of us there for a bachelor party and the place was beyond our expectations. Huge shoutout to Matt, he's a legend. He literally handled everything for us. Chef, groceries, reservations, you name it. He was constantly checking in to make sure we were good, which made the whole trip stress-free. If you’re bringing a big group, Matt and his team will 100% take care of you. We also had Oscar for security and he was great. Super cool guy, made us feel safe the whole time, and helped us out whenever we needed something. He's very good at what he does. The house itself is insane and the location is spot on. We walked everywhere. Beach, bars, restaurants, all right there. If I’m ever back in Jaco with a group, I’m not staying anywhere else. If you book Jessie’s house, you’re gonna be glad you did.

The house was perfect for 5 families with kids ranging from 2-13 years old. We always felt very safe and the house offered so many amenities to keep the kids occupied. Our host Mathew went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Thank you Jessie for opening your home to us and allowing us to have a wonderful vacation for the week in Jaco.

We had an amazing stay. The place is awesome. We went on a number of excursions and enjoyed Jaco nightlife, but we spent most of our time at Villa Pura Vida because it provided such a great hang. Jessie's staff was also super helpful and responsive. Matthew provided top-tier concierge service — he was super responsive and knowledgeable on nearby services, restaurants and nightlife. Our security guard, Oscar, was super helpful around the house, professional, and a joy to be around. We hired a private chef, Jonathan, through the concierge, and he was amazing. Great food, timely delivery, and a great guy overall. The place really exceeded our expectations on just about every front. Highly recommended!
