Dos Hijas Casita 1-Steps to the Main Surf Break

Michael is a great host, very responsive. The location of his Casita is perfect. We walked the beach every morning and went each evening to watch the sunset. The restaurants are superb and within walking distance, felt very safe. The pool was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again!

We stayed at Michael’s place for 3 night initially. The property is surrounded by nature, very walkable, and next to some great restaurants and to the beach. You can’t beat this location! The outlets stopped working on the third day and as soon as i told Michael he was super helpful and responsive and got it fixed in no time. I also left a dress by mistake and Michael assured me he was going to store it so that i can have it picked up. Overall we are very pleased with our stay and a great host, we even stayed for an extra night!

I had the best time! Michael was responsive and had everything needed for the stay. The recommendations he provided were AMAZING, so much to choose from if you don’t have your own agenda. Wish I had more time here

My boyfriend and I spent 4 wonderful nights at Hotelito Dos Hijas and I would recommend it to anyone visiting the Guanacaste area of Costa Rica! The place was beautiful, clean, and cozy and the hosts and property managers were super responsive when we needed help. They also have great recommendations for things to do and eat in the area! The location was perfect too - equal distance to both playa Tamarindo and playa flamingo and even quicker to Brasilito and Conchal and only a 3 minute walk to the shores of Playa Grande. Will definitely be coming back here as soon as possible! Pura Vida! :-)

Great place to stay near the beach. Michael is a great host. Highly recommend staying at his casitas. I look forward to coming back in the future!

Loved my stay and Michael was a great host! Very responsive and accommodating. The location can’t be beat - steps from the beach, and right next to great restaurants while still being private and quiet. Will definitely be staying here again!

This place was amazing. It is very minimalist and they have a push of being environmentally friendly which in a world of hospitality is a very good thing. Everything you needed was there to get by and make meals. The A/C worked very well and cooled the unit off quickly. There was also an 'Instruction book' on the place and the area with many recommendations and advice on rips in the sea, do yourself a favor and give that book a read. I like that it was secluded and quiet away from the noise of Tamarindo but close enough. Although I did not have much time there to explore, I would consider staying at Michael's place when I return to the area.
