Iguana Surf Villas "Vacations for the family"

Our family of 12 had an absolutely amazing stay at Iguana Surf Villas! The property was exactly as pictured, even better in person. We rented the entire 5 villa compound and they were beautiful, spotless, and perfectly set up for our large family.Every villa was clean, well-stocked, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We were walking distance to everything(beach, food, store). Ale was an outstanding host. She greeted us when we arrived, checked in during our stay, and was there to see us off when we left. She was always quick to answer our questions and even kept us informed about nearby construction that could briefly affect the electricity, which we really appreciated. The housekeeping staff did a fantastic job keeping everything clean and fully stocked throughout our 7 days there. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. If you're looking for a beautiful, well-managed property for a large group, Iguana Villas is the perfect choice. We'll definitely be back

Great for families who want their own space but together- it fits everyone's needs. The pool was great for everyone to relax in after a day at the beach. Very convenient location to the beach and town- very walkable. There's even a grocery store around the corner. We were able to see birds, iguanas, and monkeys (early morning)! Hosts were responsive when we had questions. The place was clean, the beds were comfy, the linens were nice, and the kitchen space was great. Very happy with our stay and would recommend!

Tracy and Ale were super helpful before and throughout the whole trip. They addressed all our of concerns and made sure we had everything we needed. They even recommended local restaurants and things to do before the trip started and helped us arrange transportation and activities. The area we stayed in had everything we needed, walkable restaurants and supermarkets and super close to the beach. The house had everything we needed and the layout of the property was just perfect for our family. It gave everyone enough privacy and at the same time had common areas for all of us to hang out. Pool was a plus and was very clean. We had two small children with us and everything was well thought out, had a stroller, pack and play and high chair for us to utilize. We would definitely book with them again! Thanks for the stay!!

This place was AWESOME!! I cannot say enough good things about it. Beautiful home. Lots of privacy for each couple but also fun common areas. Fully stocked. Host was super responsive and helpful. Will definitely return.

Our stay in Tamarindo was truly exceptional—beyond anything we could have hoped for. Traveling with a group of ten adults can often be challenging, but this property made it effortless. From the moment we arrived, every detail exceeded expectations. The home was beautifully maintained, thoughtfully designed, and incredibly well-equipped to accommodate a larger group comfortably. The layout offered the perfect balance of shared spaces for gathering and private areas for downtime. Every amenity was of the highest quality, and it was clear that great care has gone into creating a seamless guest experience. What truly set this property apart was the atmosphere—it felt both luxurious and welcoming, allowing our family to fully relax and enjoy our time together. Whether it was mornings with coffee overlooking the scenery or evenings spent dining and connecting, every moment felt special. This was, without question, one of the best travel experiences we’ve had as a family. We would return

Our stay at this property was more than we could have imagined. Our family of 10 adult children could not have found the space more perfect for us. It was clean. The pool was amazing. The outdoor barbeque facilitated all of our meals and the entertainment room as well as the upper deck were utilized. Each bedroom was perfect for our family. It was over the top for us. We would recommend this to anybody that wanted a perfect getaway. Thank you so much for being our hosts.

Beautiful house that was a wonderful vacation home for our week in Costa Rica. The host was responsive to our messages and concerns. Would stay here again for our next trip to Costa Rica!

Our stay in Tamarindo was amazing. The hosts were great with check in and check out. They helped us with shuttles in and out, places to rent surfboards, fishing trips, etc. The location is amazing. Easy walk to town, beach, and a super market is a couple hundred feet away. We had my family with two kids and my parents and our friends had the same with one more kiddo so 13 total in our party and the place was more than big enough. The walk to the beach is very close with fun restaurant's along the way that we frequented a bunch. The beach during our stay (February) was very fun for light surfing and the kids getting in the ocean safely. Our kids range from 2-10. For a nice spot that is close to everything and can accommodate a large group I can't imagine you can beat this place! We would absolutely stay here again.

This was an amazing Villa complex. Worked perfectly for our family of 15 total people ages from 71 to 3 yrs old. Having the five individual Villas with kitchens allowed each family to either cook in or go out for their meals. The central area with pool and upper deck were awesome Gathering areas.
