Overview
Las Mareas offers an ideal setting for your dream vacation in Nosara. Situated in the heart of the town, this villa is just steps away from markets, shops, excellent bars and restaurants, and the pristine Playa Guiones beach. The property features four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms, providing everything you need for a comfortable beach retreat.
Fully air-conditioned and impeccably maintained, the villa boasts an extensive outdoor living space, including a private pool that encourages guests to enjoy the outdoors as much as possible.
The Space
The covered yoga area and dining space create a perfect environment for relaxing with family and friends. The clean and spacious bedrooms provide a luxurious atmosphere for rest and relaxation.
The property is fully gated and secured with a heavy-duty safe and alarm system. High-speed Wi-Fi is available at 200 Mbps, one of the fastest connections in Costa Rica.
Guests staying for a week or longer benefit from complimentary housekeeping and laundry service once per week. If you wish to use the washer and dryer, please notify us in advance.
Concierge services are available upon request, including assistance with travel and transportation, spa treatments, sports and activities, day trips, chef services, and more.
While rental cars or golf carts are available in town, having a vehicle is not necessary since everything is within walking distance from Las Mareas.
Location
Owned by a family from Toronto since March 2018, the property was fully renovated in January 2021. Nosara is a pristine yoga and beach town known for its vibrant energy, welcoming community, and rich culture.
Guest Access
Guests have exclusive access to the entire private and gated property during their stay.

Las Mareas is an iconic Guiones property. The location can't be beat. The grounds are beautiful, the pool is great, the home is spacious and accommodating. Pablo and the Vacation Rentals Nosara team are responsive and helpful for any needs. Sharon and Garry are great hosts. We feel privileged to have spent an extended stay here and would highly recommend it.

From the moment we got to the house to when we unfortunately had to leave we felt right at home. Max (property manager) met us at check-in and made us feel right at home. He has endless knowledge about the surrounding area and even set us up with an awesome organic farm tour. Truly was an incredible week. The house was exactly as described and the kids loved the pool. Lots to do walking distance to the house. I woke up in the morning and walked to the beach and got a few hours of surfing in followed by lunch at any number of great restaurants. Great times! Thanks Max for everything! You rock.

50 th anniversary with kids and grandkids total 9, great location have 4.5 bathrooms was perfect beach was close town also

This home is a great location walkable to Nosara restaurants and shops. Worth noting, although the listing pictures a golf cart there is not actually a golf cart for use. We walked to nearly everything but a few dinners farther away required a passenger van pick up. Ola Coffee was a 12 minute walk, but Rolling Waves Coffee was closer and preferred. The walking was good for us. Wen also walked to the beach from here. In CR, I have learned that you have to get used to living with bugs so the ants are plentiful inside and the mosquitos are intense outside by the pool... bring lots of spray if it is rainy season like our trip. Max was incredibly helpful to us with assisting us with adventure plans, lining up transportation when we needed it, and recommending dinners - He is amazing Overall this was a beautiful stay, with wonderful aesthetics throughout the home with wood vaulted ceilings and beautiful bedrooms. It is a fabulous home Sharon and Garry.

We stayed at Las Mareas from April 24th to April 29th and had a fantastic experience. The house was spacious, spotless, and perfectly located—just a short walk to the beach and close to restaurants, bars, surf shops, supermarkets, and everything you need. The property manager was incredibly helpful and responsive, making our stay even more enjoyable. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

What a wonderful place and loved our time there! Hosts were exceptional and we absolutely would stay there again! Walking distance to all the great coffee shops, restaurants, and beach!

The house was lovely and stocked with all of the kitchen essentials. It was about a 5 minute walk from the beach and close to restaurants and shops. We loved our stay!
