If you are looking for place to get away and unwind, La casa de Maestros is the place for you. Our house is surrounded by nature and is perfect for bird watching. We are not directly on the beach but you will have complete privacy surrounded by flowers and the bird haven "laguna" that is behind our house. It is about a 5-8 minute walk to the beach. We are teachers and this house is our future retirement home. We hope you love the house and the experience of Las Lajas. The space There is AC in each bedroom. There is Starlink internet and a Kindle Firestick available for use with a VPN. The furniture was all handmade by us or a local carpenter. There is hot water available although we prefer the cold outdoor shower. We are off the beaten path and there is no house directly next to us. It is very private. The yard is fenced in for your fur babies.

My wife and I had a good time at Casa Maestro. We loved and enjoyed the proximity to the beach and the very peaceful location. The property managers, Deb and Brad, are exceptional people and went above and beyond to help us during our stay.

If you like coming home to a beautiful mansion and garden after a long day at the wonderful, lonely beach or other activities (we recommend kajaking or snorkeling at bocas chicas or going to boquete or chorcha waterfalls), watch a beautiful sunset, enjoy a drink on one of the two terasses watching exotic birds and flowers in total privacy before falling asleep to the sound of waves - this is the place to be. We also spend some lazy days at the nearby beach or just around the house enjoying the garden shower and nize breeze by the fans. Las Lajas is a beautiful place with friendly people, even the stray dogs are friendly, and Debra and Bred as the next neighbours are the best. As co-hosts they are very eager to help if you need anything and on top awesome and interesting people to have a chat with if you like. Dont be too picky, there might be a few bugs and no hot water in the kitchen, but its not a hotel or resort. The house and area have heart and good vibes. And for someone who lives in a 50qm appartement in an european capital it was just amazing and pure luxury.

La Casa esta completamente impecable y tiene mucha seguridad, esta también muy cerca de la playa y de restaurantes. El anfitrión es muy amable y esta dispuesto a ayudar siempre o responder alguna duda. la verdad pasamos un fin de semana maravilloso! ALTAMENTE RECOMENDADO!

Solid beach house for 6 with fenced in yard only a few blocks from Las Lajas beach. Wake up early and walk the beach, the sunrises left-hand side to the east are tremendous. Sunset's right hand side to the west are beautiful too.
