Inside, the house is fully furnished and includes a fully equipped kitchen and inviting living spaces. The residence is situated within the CPI Spanish Institute and spans two levels connected by two staircases. It offers two living rooms, one dining area, and a cozy reading nook.
Each bedroom contains one bed and a private bathroom. Guests also have access to a washer and dryer for added convenience.
Guest Access and Check-In Information
- Check-in after 5:00 p.m. incurs an additional fee of $10, payable upon arrival.
- Check-in from 7:00 p.m. onward requires an extra charge of $20, also payable at check-in.

This place is just gorgeous - the pictures don't do it justice. Perfect for multiple families and families with teens (they had their own suite!). The hosts were so helpful.

¡Nos encantó el lugar! Éramos un grupo de 10 personas y todos estuvimos cómodos en todo momento. La ubicación es excelente para desplazarse a otros lugares y hay mucha oferta de comida cerca. Nosotros no tuvimos problema con las múltiples gradas que hay, pero es algo a tomar en cuenta si alguien tiene limitaciones de movilidad. Definitivamente volveríamos a hospedarnos.

We had a bad airbnb experience the night before and were so glad we found this spot available. What an absolutely beautiful house! We met Valerie at check in and were instantly charmed by the property. It felt like an old school grand Spanish style house that has been well kept. It was super clean, and since it 's a tropical country, there are still bugs here and there, but you can tell they've done their best in cleaning and maintaining the house. It felt safe since it was next to the Spanish immersion school, and there was a gate for after hrs. Some things to keep in mind - laundry is in the basement, and it's a uniquely shaped house so there's a lot of stairs and steps. Watch out if you're with young kids or elderly. There are many bathrooms and most rooms have it en suite. Remember to not flush the toilet paper! If you're cooking a lot, there's a few pots and pans, but it may not be enough for a large group. We loved our stay and would stay here again. Thank you, and pura vida!

Wir waren von dem Haus begeistert. Es ist liebevoll eingerichtet, geräumig, verwinkelt mit schönem Aussenbereich. In den Augen unsere Kinder ein kleines Schloss. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Check in/out war sehr unkompliziert und der Host hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank.

We had a fantastic stay at Casas Del Toro in Monteverde. Right across the street from a breathtaking sunset viewpoint with coffee and bakeries within walking distance. The house was a great size and very comfortable for our group of 8. We would absolutely stay again!

I absolutely loved this place! It felt secure and cozy, and the house is spacious with plenty of rooms. I did have an issue with the gate, but I contacted the host, and they resolved it very quickly—amazing service! I highly recommend this place. Just one small thing: there were no curtains in one of the bedrooms, but aside from that, everything was perfect. The people here are so friendly, and I would 100% recommend staying here!

A very attractive and clean home. Great location on the campus of the CPI Spanish Immersion School. Sort of an odd layout for the interior space with the need to walk up and down steps to move between rooms. Very weak WiFi in some areas of the home and limited hot water. Overall a great experience and we would definitely stay there again.

Casa enorme muy linda. El precio podría ser menor debido a la siguiente recomendación : en todas las duchas no funciona el agua caliente lo que lo hace algo incómoda la estadía. Sin embargo el lugar es maravillosos
