The Space
This oceanfront beach house features four bedrooms and offers breathtaking 180-degree views of the Caribbean Sea. It is part of the Paradise Regained properties and provides direct access to the Caribbean Ocean and some of Utila's finest reefs, ideal for snorkeling. Guests can also enjoy a fresh saltwater swimming pool on-site.
The beach gazebo, furnished with hammocks and Adirondack rocking chairs, is an ideal spot to watch for dolphins, savor your morning coffee, or relax with a book. The home accommodates up to eight guests, with an additional fee for more than four occupants.
Situated among palm trees, this beachfront residence is located in a quiet, secluded neighborhood while still being just minutes away from the town’s restaurants, bars, and attractions. Two of the bedrooms are connected by ensuite bathrooms.
The house includes a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, and a comfortable seating space. A large wrap-around deck overlooks the clear blue reef and the stunning Caribbean Sea. Paradise Regained is perfectly positioned to enjoy both sunrise and sunset views over Utila.
Note that the main living area does not have air conditioning but benefits from fresh breezes through windows and doors. Bedroom doors can be opened to the main area to share air conditioning, and each bedroom is individually air-conditioned.
Guest Access
Feel the sand beneath your feet and listen to the waves gently lapping on the reef. From private steps, you can easily enter the warm Caribbean waters with your snorkel and mask. A short swim leads to some of the best reef sites on Utila’s south side, where you might spot turtles, seahorses, stingrays, and dolphins.
For those who prefer not to snorkel, there is a shared saltwater pool and seating area available. An outdoor shower is provided to rinse off saltwater before relaxing on your private deck or the shared beachfront area, where you can enjoy a drink while watching the sunset over the ocean.

The Paradise Regained experience is designed as a tranquil retreat from the busyness of everyday life. The property emphasizes peace, quiet, and the soothing sounds of waves and wind.
To ensure all guests can rest and rejuvenate, quiet hours are strictly enforced from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. This policy is highly appreciated by all visitors. Guests seeking lively nights, loud music, or parties are encouraged to book accommodations within the town instead.

The property’s exterior and beautiful lagoon views matched the listing and were the highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, the interior showed signs of wear, including ceiling stains, unfinished repairs, outdated fixtures, and areas that needed fresh paint. The most disappointing aspect was the restrictive A/C policy. While the bedroom units worked well, guests are limited to 10 hours of use per day or face additional charges. Combined with the lack of air conditioning in the main living area and kitchen, this made the home uncomfortable at times. The pool was enjoyable but did not fully match the photos and appeared to need maintenance. We were also uncomfortable with the wording of the surveillance and fee policies, which made us feel closely monitored. Communication sometimes felt impersonal, and the property could benefit from improved lighting, particularly around stairways and balconies. The location and scenery were excellent, but the interior condition can use some updating.

Our family of 4 adults loved our stay at Paradise Regained. We all had plenty of room to spread out and spent most of your time on the balcony enjoying the view of the ocean. The beds were comfortable and the a/c in the bedrooms worked well. Plenty of bottled water was provided for our use. The host Tamara was very proactive and responsive in her communication before and during the trip. She arranged pick up for us from the ferry terminal. Before the trip, she emailed information on immigration forms and provided lots of suggestions of things to do and where to eat on Utila. We dove the sites around the island and found that snorkeling off the reef in front of the house was as good as the dive sites for aquatic life - spotted eagle ray, parrot fish, barracuda, trigger fish and scuba divers! We loved our stay on Utila and felt well informed about the island before arrival, thanks to Tamara's proactive communications.

We loved our stay at Paradise Regained. As mentioned the location is amazing. We loved to be able to snorkel right behind the house and it was the best snorkeling spot ever. It was pretty hot and it was great to jump right in the pool. The listing does say that the central area does not have air conditioning. This could be an issue for some people but that meant more water time for us! The room full of snorkel equipment was great! We really enjoyed relaxing on the porch and in the gazebo. We will stay here again. Tamara was a great host!

One word, BEAUTIFUL! Genuinely one of the most beautiful Airbnbs my family and I have ever stayed at. Tamara was awesome and made herself available whenever we had any questions. Bring your camera or GoPro because you will want to take as many pictures as possible! Will definitely be back!!

We felt so at home, when it was time to leave, I was sad to go. This is the perfect place to stay for a family. We each had our own room, it had everything we needed, a beautiful view, great location, walking distance to The Point restaurant, just down the road from Bando beach, and close to town. We used Alton Dive shop and it was just a 2 minute golf cart drive up the road. I will recommend this rental home to anyone traveling to Utila.

We loved this place from the moment we walked in. The balcony became our favorite as the view, breeze and waterfront are unbeatable. The property is exactly as described and photos show. It’s not new or super fancy but has everything needed and a great value for the peacefulness of the waterfront view and ability to snorkel an amazing reef 100 yds from the gazebo. It has the convenience of being a few minutes from town on a bike, scooter or golf cart, and a 2-minute walk from The Point Bar & Restaurant. Tamara was very responsive and resolved an issue we had immediately after we made her aware. The hosts are well known and liked by folks on the island. We dove every day and had a relaxing place to return to every afternoon!

Great place. we walked to dinner in town every night but it’s far enough away that it’s nice a quiet. Great snorkeling from the property. Utila is a really cool place
