The Octopus Safari Lodge / Lora Lodge

Wonderful glamping experience with great views, toucan, and beautiful surroundings. Bugs were not bad at all and the cold shower was refreshing. Excellent value and location. We would definitely stay again.

Excelente lugar teníamos dudas por el frio de la noche pero no tuvimos problema alguno una temperatura agradable, tiendas super seguras, lugar tranquilo y los anfitriones muy amenos. Volveríamos sin duda.

Cet endroit est génial ! Tres calme, Cyrielle et son copain sont super accueillants, amicaux et toujours disponibles. J'ai adoré rester dans cette tente. On est a l'écart de la ville tout en étant pas loin du tout et les soirées/nuits y sont parfaites. Hautement recommandé !

Un endroit proche de la nature où l'on se sent vraiment très bien !! Nous avons vraiment adoré passer du temps ici. Merci pour tout Cyrielle et Antoine

Eine ganz besondere Unterkunft, gleich vorab: wir wären gerne länger geblieben. Auch wenn Uvita etwas weiter entfernt ist fanden wir die Lage super, da wir so abseits vom Trubel waren, aber es in der Umgebung trotzdem einige tolle Strände gibt. Das Zelt war genau wie beschrieben und es war wirklich super etwas kochen zu können und dabei vor dem Zelt die Ruhe und die Aussicht genießen zu können. Wenn ihr die Chance habt kommt unbedingt vorbei und bleibt am besten auch ein paar Nächte länger :-)

El Pulpo is a nice and relaxed pleace with a few well built tents that are equiped with everything you need. The lodge is in a quite place were you can wake up listening to the animals. We recommend to have a car to get around the area.

Lo pasamos muy bien en el glamping, El terreno es espectacular y la onda del lugar nos gustó mucho. La pileta nos pareció genial y Cyrielle y Antoine fueron muy atentos. Muchas gracias nuevamente!!!

Great Glamping-experience in Ojochal! Can’t get closer to a nature experience. I felt so comfortable that I stayed home 3 out of 4 nights, cooking for myself. The tent is super comfortable, a cute kitchen with everything you need and a decent bathroom (cold shower but with the tropical temperatures you don’t need anything else. Hot shower is also available in a shared space). I could have stayed forever on the terrace in this comfy hammock! Cyrielle and her husband are amazing hosts and do everything to make you feel home. The communication was always fantastic, fast and clear. I had forgotten to buy oil, so Cyrielle just gave me theirs :-). Thanks so much to both of you! When looking for restaurants pls be aware that you are in an expat-area, ie prices of some (delicious but rather expensive) restaurants don’t reflect the rare ingredients on their menus but rather the purchase power in the area. There is a super nice Deli shop though fulfilling all basic needs or some big supermarkets in Uvita.

An amazing glamping experience in Costa Rica. Great location . The hosts were so accommodating by providing car transportation into the town and markets if you were on foot. Loved the lodging, comfortable, convenient kitchenette, the cold shower was perfect to cool of from the heat. Loved it!
