Our stay on the Osa Peninsula was exceptional. The house is a beautiful, secluded sanctuary with stunning water views and a peaceful layout. We especially loved the private pool, the pagoda, and the sliding panels that opened the front and back of the house to the breeze. The wildlife was incredible; we saw spider monkeys, howler monkeys, toucans, and macaws directly from the property. While the home is gorgeous and well-furnished with great spaces for dining and games, the caretakers truly made the trip. Jonathan handled our airport transfers and driving. The local roads are rugged, and seeing other vehicles broken down made us realize how vital his expert driving was to our safety and comfort. Ivis prepared breakfast and dinner for us daily, and her cooking was magnificent. Coming from a food-centric city, we found her meals easily rivaled those of a 5-star professional chef. This property offers the perfect balance of remote privacy and high-end hospitality.

We loved our time at Casa Jungua! Ivis and Jonathan were so available and helpful. We asked Jonathan to drive for us ( which we highly recommend) and Ivis cooked breakfast and dinner-AMAZING!! The food was fresh, healthy, plentiful, beautifully presented every meal and absolutely delicious. Very FINE cuisine! The place is absolutely as it states in the description. We loved the quiet and yet vibrant sounds of the jungle, the ocean, the views (spectacular), the wildlife right within the grounds of Casa Jungua, and the Private Road made for an excellent hike for us every morning! Strenuous but awesome! The privacy was so sweet and was another huge plus for us! The pool is lovely and much appreciated and the decor sets you up for no distractions, comfort and tranquility! We are so thankful for our time at Casa Jungua and appreciated the timely and excellent communication (with Frank, Johnathan and Ivis), their hospitality and care! Pura Vida!

This is just paradise. Very remote place, quiet. This is where the wildlife is visiting and entertaining you. After walking in you will never want to leave the property. It is great for relaxing after some days of adventure in Costa Rica. Take definitely the car service with Jonathan and the cook service with Ivis- you cannot do better. Thanks Frank for all of your help and for letting us enjoy your beautiful home.

If there is a paradise, Casa Jungua has been the blueprint! Thanks to Frank’s very helpful instruction and recommendation for a daylight trip we managed the last kilometre(s) on the adventurous small road well by our own rental car. And, we were rewarded by a place with an overwhelming atmosphere and stunning view even better than capturable on a picture. With the warm welcome of Jonathan and Ivis (a fantastic cook!) who were taking care of us very friendly and discreetly we spent three wonderful days surrounded by nature and the sound of the forest and sea.

"Between the sea and the jungle, we experienced a moment suspended in time. This wooden house is a true gem: far from ostentatious luxury, it offers an elegant 'nature chic' simplicity where everything is perfectly balanced. The view is simply extraordinary—a unique panorama that takes in both the wild jungle and the vastness of the sea. It is a non-stop show where birds, monkeys, and wildlife. Please note that the house is very isolated, about 40 minutes from the nearest grocery store, and a 4x4 high clearance vehicle is mandatory to reach the property. We absolutely loved this adventurous side and the seclusion; it made us feel truly connected to nature. Our warmest thanks to Jonathan and Ivis for their warm welcome, efficiency, and availability. A special shout-out to Ivis for her absolutely sublime cooking: we highly recommend her dinners! Leaving today was very sad for us. We will return without any hesitation. A rare find for lovers of beauty and the wild.

This was our second stay at Casa Jungua and our expectations were met in every respect. If you prefer readily available shopping, restaurants, clubs, and crowds, this is not a good choice. If your idea of perfection is an utterly private, luxurious property brimming with nature and natural beauty, don’t hesitate. Jonathan and Ives are extremely helpful in all respects, and Ivis is a fantastic chef. We look forward to our next visit.

My wife and I spent 10 indescribably wonderful days at Casa Jungua for our honeymoon. This place exceeded all of our expectations - from Jonathan and Ivis’ excellent and comforting services, to the unbelievable richness of wildlife (almost better than Corcovado park itself!). The remoteness does require a big journey, but it is entirely worth it. Staying here brought us not only much needed relaxation, but also a new outlook on life. It was our own slice of heaven and we will always have a piece of ourselves left in our memories of Casa Jungua. Seriously, it really is that good!

The Osa peninsula is a special place - the friendly people along with the submersion in nature. Casa Jungua sits at the end of a steep bumpy 1 mile driveway - but totally worth it. The house and pool are exquisite for an “off the grid” place. Excellent WiFi. Best parts are the magnificent sunrise, the scarlet macaws, toucans and spider monkeys that visit the property each day. Don’t miss Martina’s on Friday night! Caretaker Jonathon is the best! He will help with anything you need. Exceptional stay in the wild Osa

Absolute Traumunterkunft! Pura Vida.
