Serafina Villa is a French-style mansion situated in the Central Valley of Costa Rica. The property has been carefully renovated to preserve its original charm and historical significance. Initially, it was the first property in an area once dominated by coffee shops. Today, it offers a comfortable and luxurious setting ideal for family gatherings.
The villa boasts impressive views of the golf course, surrounding mountains, and typical Costa Rican vegetation.
The Space
The estate covers 5,000 square meters, including gardens, and features five bedrooms accommodating up to 14 guests. Shared common areas include:
- A spacious kitchen
- A viewpoint
- A swimming pool
- A pool table and bar
These communal spaces are shared with guests staying in a separate unit on the property called La Casita de Villa Serafina.
This accommodation is particularly suitable for families with teenage children, as it offers multiple independent living areas. The environment is peaceful and secure, yet conveniently close to restaurants, supermarkets, shopping centers, and just 10 minutes from the airport.
Balconies and a terrace overlooking the golf course provide ideal spots for relaxation while enjoying the scenic views. The pool and surrounding area are available for guest use and enjoyment.
Guest Access
Booking the mansion includes access to all five bedrooms. Some areas are restricted to guests, while others are shared with visitors staying in the separate unit outside the main house.
A guardian and maintenance staff are present on the property to assist with check-in and provide a tour of the house. They remain on-site to ensure the property is well-maintained and in good condition. Although their rooms are inside the house, they typically do not enter guest areas unless assistance is requested.

All bedrooms come with private bathrooms, air conditioning, and televisions.
First Floor
- Room 101: Queen bed and a fireplace
- Room 102: Queen bed with an umbrella bathroom
Second Floor

this is a very nice place for large groups and lots of kids, they will love it. it does need some upkeep, and the place needs open windows before guest arrive. depending on the person who keeps up the place is not so practical but it works. the pool is great, and beds are comfy. internet works, but house has many dead areas. overall good place but has some issues.

The area was nice and safe. The house appears nicer in pictures. It needs updating for the price. The outdoor landscape and fountains were run down. The living room furniture is threadbare, the dining room table was 2 folding tables, and the decor does not “represent” the mansion they are showing. The beds were comfortable and cozy. It was nice to have a groundskeeper (he was amazing) but it would have been easier to let ourselves in and out of the gate instead of waiting for someone. The coffee pot was broke and we received a new one immediately.

Un lugar hermoso, la casa ofrece la mejor de las comodidades, el cuarto de la mesa de Pool se convirtió en el aposento donde mas se compartió. La piscina impecable. La terraza con vista a la cancha de golf es hermoso para desayunar o tomar café por las tardes. Don Leo está en cuido de la propiedad en todo momento por lo que la seguridad de la Casa da una enorme tranquilidad. Podría decir que es el mejor lugar Abnb en que me he hospedado. Ahorita es mi top 1

The house/Villa is huge with lot of bed rooms and can accommodate lot of people.The main problem is that it is dated which is not seen in the images.. Lot of items need work, dish water was not working...No AC in main living room, kitchen, dining room which is a problem because that means getting together other than not sleeping is uncomfortable...There is a security guard on site 24/7 which is very good.. Overall we did enjoy the place and it is spacious..just that it is dated..... Ibwould give 4.5 if there is an option..I only saw 4

Nos la pasamos bien, pensábamos que la piscina iba a ser muy fría, pero en realidad estaba perfecta, realmente disfrutamos demasiado de la piscina como queríamos, cumplió por completo las expectativas que teníamos del hospedaje!

The house was very lovely and spacious—perfectly suited for a group like ours. However, the master bathroom had issues with leaks; specifically, the fixtures were a bit tricky to shut off, resulting in water leakage. I think they need to be a bit more careful in this regard, as the plumbing appears to be in need of maintenance.
