This spacious home offers four private bedrooms, generous social areas, a designer pool, outdoor lounge spaces, and a prime location. Whether you want to explore nearby jungles, enjoy the town, or unwind with a cocktail by the pool, the Jungle Palace invites you to experience it all.

The Space

The house features 15-foot ceilings and large arched windows that fill the kitchen and living areas with natural light.

• Bedrooms:

  • Two bedrooms on the first floor:
    • One with a full-size bed and desk
    • One with bunk beds
  • Second floor:
    • Master bedroom with a king-size bed, closet, day bed/couch, and direct bathroom access
    • Another bedroom with a king-size bed and two day bed/couches

• Bathrooms:

  • One bathroom on each floor, both equipped with large walk-in showers and provided towels

• Kitchen:

  • Fully equipped with an electric stove and bar seating for three

Step outside to a large covered porch featuring a dining area, seating, and arched openings overlooking the pool, rancho, wildlife, and greenery. There is also a roof-covered gas BBQ grill for outdoor cooking.

While not a full gym, the property includes a pull-up bar, dip bars, 25-pound dumbbells, and outdoor space for workouts.

Each bedroom and the living room have air conditioning units. Please turn off AC units when not in use.

The living room offers a smart 55-inch 4K TV with cable and streaming capabilities. There is an additional smart TV in the kids’ bunk bed room. Wi-Fi is available in the living room, outdoor dining area, kitchen, and designated workspace, with extenders covering most of the home and poolside. The internet speed is 200 Mbps, suitable for working remotely.

Location

The Jungle Palace is ideally situated just a two-minute drive or short walk from Playa Hermosa, known for dining and big-wave surfing. A short drive up the mountainside (4x4 recommended) offers stunning views and excellent hiking opportunities.

This location provides access to a wide variety of Costa Rica’s attractions, combining jungle privacy with proximity to town, beach, and mountains. A convenience store is just steps outside the front gate.

Guest Access

Guests have exclusive use of the entire home and pool. The property has a gated entrance and ample parking with self-check-in available.

There is a separate casita near the entrance that may be occupied by the owner or rented, but it is completely separate from the main house, sharing only the entrance.

Matt, the property manager, is available throughout your stay to assist with any property issues or provide recommendations.

Additional Information

• Vehicle: A car is recommended for convenience, though taxis and other transport options are available. The road to the house is fully paved.
• Security: Security cameras are installed inside and outside the home. Indoor cameras are turned off during your stay; outdoor cameras remain active for safety.
• Landscaping: The property requires regular landscaping. Depending on your stay length, the landscaper may visit to maintain the grounds and pool.
• No unregistered guests: Strictly enforced with no exceptions.
• Smoking: No smoking inside the house. Please use ashtrays when outside. Littering cigarette butts will result in a $200 fine.
• Trash: Compost and trash bins are provided under the sink. Compost can be disposed of over the driveway wall to reduce flies. Large trash bins are located outside in the driveway storage area.
• Electricity: Please conserve energy by turning off AC units and lights when not in use. Keep doors and windows closed while using air conditioning.
• Accidents: Accidents happen; please notify us if anything breaks so we can repair or replace it.
• Dogs: Friendly, shy neighborhood dogs may visit and say hello.

Beach, Bikes & Surf

• Beach chairs are available for guest use.
• Bicycles and surfboards can be rented at a local shop in Jaco, about 10 minutes away, a good option if you don’t have a vehicle or want to surf.
• Playa Hermosa is known for powerful waves and strong currents; please exercise caution.
• Towels provided are for use inside the house and pool only; please do not take them to the beach.
