This place made the trip. We went on my bachelor party with the intention of having activities (surfing, ATVs, catamaran, swimming, etc), along with enough of a town to have great dinners and some fun nightlife options nearby. It had everything and more, we had the best weekend I could have imagined. Highly highly recommend setting up golf carts for the time there, was a huge help for quickly buzzing around town. Way more to do around there than anticipated! Ten stars.

We had a fantastic stay at the Sunset House in Tamarindo with our family of 11. The location was wonderful, offering beautiful views and easy access to the town and beach. The house itself was spacious, well-equipped, and perfect for a multi-generational family gathering. The only small downside was the steep driveway, which was a bit challenging for our older family members, and even that was easily overcome with a golf cart. Overall, though, it was a memorable vacation spot and we’d happily return!

Karina and the entire staff were amazing. Extremely helpful, attentive, proactive and kind. Karina was a pleasure to work with and the communication was stellar. The house itself is breathtaking and the pictures don’t do it justice. It’s a wonderful place for a large group to relax, cook, have fun, and use as a centralized point for getting out to do a ton of excursions and in town exploring. Highly, highly recommend!

Pictures definitely do not do this beautiful house justice. Amazing trip with friends and family. There was a total of 9 people with our two families, and the house had plenty of room for everyone. The staff was absoloutley wonderful! Karina went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, from the time we checked in to the time we checked out. Karina’s recommendation to hire Chef Fabien for some private meals was excellent! Geovanna’s breakfast preparation, laundry services and cleaning were top tier. We were definitely spoiled for our 5 day stay and wanted to take her home with us. Mario was there for any services needed. Celia walking and securing the grounds each night gave me piece of mind with our kids in different rooms and gave us the relaxation needed. This experience and home went above and beyond my expectations. I wouldnt have changed one thing about our stay. It was a perfect location and home. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Costa Rica.

Incredible stay at a magical house that worked perfectly for two families with five children. Well stocked and staffed and Karina was incredibly helpful finding local tour guides and chefs to cook elegant private dinners. Five stars - will visit again

We had an incredible stay at Sunset House. Top notch location, service and space and the views cannot be beat! We would highly recommend for families or a group of couples who want a quiet getaway to relax and enjoy Costa Rica.

Karina and the entire staff were incredible from start to finish. Everything was taken care of and every detail covered. Breakfast each morning was delicious! We couldn’t have asked for a better trip. The best memories and best time was had by all thanks to Karina and the entire staff at the Sunset House.

Wow! My stay at this Airbnb was absolutely phenomenal—the best place I’ve ever stayed…ever. The pictures just don’t do it justice; the villa is beyond stunning in person. The views from the villa were nothing short of spectacular, making every moment magical. Karina and Darius were exceptional hosts, remembering every little detail and going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. They even surprised me with a birthday gift from the villa, making my birthday trip with friends incredibly special. The villa offered fantastic amenities, including laundry service, and they arranged events and massages for us at the villa upon request. It was an unbelievably special stay, and I can’t recommend this place enough. Thank you, Karina and Darius, for making this trip unforgettable!
