From check in to check out our stay was nothing less than perfect. The hosts are thoughtful, proactive, and very welcoming. The architecture is stunning and the grounds are immaculate. I marveled at how we were in the middle of the jungle yet I saw not a single insect. The place is extremely well cared for and maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed for delicious dinners using local ingredients (there’s also a market down the road) and our cocktails were enjoyed poolside next to the waterfall. The beds were very comfortable (loved the quilt!) and the a/c was cold and refreshing. While there is a lot to do nearby, we barely left our little piece of paradise opting instead to enjoy the home’s peaceful and luxurious surroundings. I believe they have other properties as well and we are looking forward to staying with them again when we return. Thank you for hosting us!

Great pool and surrounded by beautiful nature. The house is clean and modern and had beautiful big windows so that you are constantly connected to the outside even when inside.Jayr was extremely helpful. We had a great time thank you

Our stay at this Puerto Viejo jungle paradise was the best Airbnb experience ever! This gem, nestled in a lush, private jungle, offers a perfect blend of nature, comfort, and seclusion. Waking to howler monkeys’ calls was unforgettable, immersing us in nature. Wildlife encounters were magical—sloths, tropical birds, and butterflies surrounded us, like a nature documentary. The pristine pool was ideal for cooling off or lounging with jungle views, a true highlight. Secluded yet close to Puerto Viejo’s vibrant scene, the location was perfect. The host’s exceptional hospitality made us feel welcomed, with thoughtful details, responsive communication, and seamless check-in. The accommodations were comfortable and curated with care. This Airbnb is a rare find, and we’re already eager to return. For a magical, nature-filled escape with top-notch amenities and a caring host, book this jungle paradise! Highly recommend!

Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich, sehr hiflreich und innert kürzester Zeit erreichbar. Das Haus und der Garten sind eine wahrhafte Oase. Der Pool ist absolut fantastisch. Sehr sauber, perfekt in der Grösse und einfach wunderschön, da sehr natürlich im Design inklusive Wasserfall. Eigenständige Mobilität ist sicher von Vorteil, da es zu Fuss doch eher weit ist, bis zum nächsten Restaurant. Wir waren sechs Nächte dort. Nach drei Nächten wurde das Haus komplett gereinigt, die Bettwäsche und die Frottewäsche ersetzt sowie der Müll entsorgt, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Wir können Jason als Gastgeber und diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

This A-frame home is stunning, with a Scandinavian-inspired design that feels bright, airy, and surrounded by lush Costa Rican greenery. We loved the style, cleanliness, and the warm welcome from Jayr. The location feels both authentic and convenient, offering a true sense of Costa Rica. A couple of notes: the Wi-Fi never worked during our stay, so confirm if you need reliable internet, and there was construction across the street starting early, which made things less peaceful. Still, the overall design, atmosphere, and setting make this a memorable place to stay.

Nuestras vacaciones fueron espectaculares! Disfrutamos mucho del lugar y de la hermosa piscina. Muy privada y rodeada de mucha naturaleza, especial para reconectar y recargarse de energía. Cerca del centro de Puerto Viejo, supermercados, restaurantes y hermosas playas. Deseamos volver muy pronto!

There is a melon tree in the jungle next to the house. If you can manage to sit still in the morning with your coffee a small sloth will join you. Make sure to brew him a cup. The sounds of the rainforest at night will awaken your imagination and put you into a deep meditative sleep. The host has created an experience unlike any I have had and has provided a 5 star service. Truly amazing property and people living here. There is something special about this part of the world, if you are reading this, stop scrolling and just book it.
