Beach House Incognito Cottage. Beach front, pool

We loved staying at Greg’s! He was so friendly and provided suggestions for things to do and information about the local area. The location is amazing right on the beach with miles of beach to watch. The location is great with easy drivability to multiple areas to explore local culture and shopping. We couldn’t recommend Greg’s place more. We loved it!

This place is super special. Gregory was the best host and so welcoming and friendly and always there to help if we had a question. The beach guest house was perfect for what we needed - comfy quarters, beautiful porch with rocking chairs, kitchen full of appliances to name a few. The access to the pool, washer/dryer, outdoor kitchen, and beach chairs and boogie boards was extra bonus. The real gem is the surrounding jungle and wildlife and just steps from the most beautiful beach that is usually fairly sparse of people. Sunrises and sunsets were incredible !!! Walking distance along the beach to the main beach area with surfboard rentals and lessons and up into the town of Dominicalito with a few great restaurants, grocery store, and waterfall. We made do without a car for our time here and loved our beach commute ! We hope to return and recommend 10/10. Thanks Gregory and Lisa !!

From the moment we arrived, Greg and Lisa made us feel completely at home with their warmth and hospitality. Our first impression of Beachhouse Incognito truly took our breath away—the stunning pool, with the sound and sight of waves crashing just beyond, set the perfect tone. The bungalow was exactly what we hoped for: cool, cozy, and inviting. But the real magic happened on the porch, where we sipped our morning coffee and watched a parade of wildlife—iguanas, coatis, agoutis, hummingbirds, and so many lizards. Evenings brought more delight as we grilled our dinners by the pool and spotted bats flitting overhead. At night, thunderstorms rolled in, making everything feel even more magical. Most of our days were spent floating in the pool and simply relaxing, but we also loved exploring the local culture of Dominical. Highlights included ceviche at Fuego Brewery, outstanding chicken wings at Jolly Roger Bar, and spotting capuchin monkeys at La Parcela. We can’t wait to come back!

Greg and Lisa were so welcoming and kind they were there for anything we needed. This piece of paradise is beyond words to describe the pure beauty of this beautiful place. The pool was A bonus! but the beach was so relaxing .every morning I sipped the most delicious coffee fresh from Costa Rica on the best rocking chair watching the sunrise and the tide roll out you can’t put A price on that feeling of relaxation. You get to see all sorts of reptiles and birds big blue butterflies !!Thank you Greg and Lisa Pure Vida can’t wait to book our next trip soon!!

Shh, don’t tell anyone about this place! My husband and I rented the bungalow for two and it’s all you need. Great pool, but it is shared with anyone that might be renting the house, so just know that. And the pool is in front of the house so it sort of feels like it’s “their pool”, but we didn’t care, and it’s fantastic. The beach is on point and beautiful. Greg is helpful and lives in the bungalow onsite and he had suggestions for things and places to go to do that we didn’t know about. And he’d always turn our porch lights on when we left for the evening!

Absolutely beautiful cottage, perfectly clean, lovely property, incredible beach, and a warm, hospitable host. We had a wonderful stay. Highly recommend.

Greg was a great host and communicator and made us feel very welcome. As others have noted it's adjacent to a busy road so you get truck/air brake noise at the place but that's offset by beautiful surroundings, a great beach, and fantastic pool.

Great location - right on a beautiful beach. We really enjoyed a couple of relaxing weeks there and are looking forward to getting back there in the future. Greg is a great host and is always available to answer questions or offer suggestions.

Absolutely breathtaking view of the ocean, only a stones throw away from the porch! The owners were wonderful hosts that gave several terrific recommendations; they live on site so they're readily available for questions or help!! If you’re looking for a place where you can have coffee on the porch with two rocking chairs that look directly at the ocean, this place is for you!! The beach has very low traffic most days and you can enjoy swimming in nice warm ocean water here. Very comfortable for 2 people; all amenities you could think of are provided. Beautiful heated pool with ocean view. This was one of only a few locations between Uvita (20 min) and Manuel Antonio (30 min) that had direct beach access. The only small thing is the road noise that others have mentioned. Dominical is about a 5-min drive with several restaurants/shopping. Highly recommend a 4x4. Wear lots of sunscreen. So much wildlife (look up!!); absolutely beautiful place to stay! We’ll be back! Pura Vida!
