We had a wonderful stay. I highly recommend Santa Cruz La Laguna for your stay at the lake : quiet atmosphere and a lot of places to eat around and chill. The house is very nice, you just have to get used to the different rooms (bedrooms and living room/bathroom) not connecting. The garden is lovely and reading a book sitting on the terrace with the view of the volcanos is a bliss. Ever and Luca are very helpful. And no bug issue this late July, we didn’t even see a mosquito ! Overall highly recommended.

We have had a fantastic time in Casa Jazmin. We have stayed here for 4 nights with our 10 yr old son. The house and location are great. Very peaceful and relaxing. We were happy that we chose this house on Santa Cruz as the other popular villages around Lake Atlitlan are way more crowded. The communication with co-host Ever was excellent. The gardener Lukas is also very kind. His son and our son went fishing and playing soccer together. Unforgettable!

This airbnb is the most beautiful place we’ve stayed at. However, it was a little weird getting used to the separated bathroom via the bedroom. You can directly see Lake Atitlán, it was stunning. The area was very walkable to the dock and Santa Cruz. Ever, the co-host, was also very nice - we were able to message him and get a response very quickly, even as we were checking in at 8 pm. He also arranged a private lancha for us for our arrival which was helpful. We also got an amazing couple’s massage just under the airbnb at Ever’s studio!! Would stay here again!

Hosts were wonderful and extremely helpful and attentive. Location was very remote and gave good privacy, but a little difficult to get to. Still loved it and had a great trip!

All the reviews are 100% correct. This place IS unreal on many levels, and the hosts are great. Really can’t fault the experience on any measure, and the views are truly unbelievable. Especially in the morning. Lucas the groundskeeper is a really nice chap and speaks Spanish slowly so you can understand. So thoughtful. However, if you’re scared of spiders, forget it. Completely untenable. They’re harmless but definitely present. And LARGE. They come out at night and can really freak you out.

Ever was INCREDIBLY kind when I experienced a severe illness at the tail end of our trip to the lake. He kindly let us stay later than the exit time so my stomach could settle, and helped me find a good doctor. He even called them to see if they had availability for me 😭🩷 Truly went above and beyond. This Airbnb is in a stunning location, with incredible views and just a short walk to the Santa Cruz dock. The shoreline path right outside the house is perfect for scenic walks in either direction. The space itself was very clean, and the instruction manual was helpful and easy to follow. I especially appreciated the eco-friendly touches, the fruit growing on the property, and the well-equipped kitchen, which had everything needed to cook comfortably. The patio was also a great spot to relax. The host was responsive and accommodating throughout our stay, even allowing us to store our belongings for a bit after checkout, which we really appreciated. I would absolutely recommend staying here!

We could not be more pleased with our stay! Ever was wonderful and went above and beyond helping us with organizing boats and airport transportation, answering our questions and checking in with us. The views are to die for and perfect for basking in the beauty of lake atitlan. Santa Cruz is amazing and we’re so happy we stayed here as it’s less busy and loud as the other towns but easy to get to them. Walkable to great restaurants, town center, yoga, SUP, kayaks, hiking, you name it. All of the recommendations are AMAZING definitely listen! Support local! Take a tour with Santa Cruz Jo! I hope we get the chance to come back one day.

Ever was very professional and great to communicate with regarding the Airbnb. Jen, the owner, happened to stop by and was very kind. Lucas from maintenance was also very helpful and answered all our questions. The place was beautiful—like staying on an island. The front yard has amazing views of the lake. Just grab a chair and relax by the water. We really enjoyed our stay. Ever fue muy profesional y fácil de comunicarse sobre el Airbnb. Jen, la dueña, pasó a saludarnos y fue muy amable. We had a great stay at this place. Ever was very helpful. My partner got sick and we had to book this place last minute and he let us check in early so that my partner had a place to rest! He was very responsive and accommodating. There are lots of bugs around but that didn’t bother us too much. Our only issue was that the bedroom was outside and up some stairs so it isn’t directly connected to the bathroom, which wasn’t great for my sick partner but we made it work! The bed was very comfy and there was drinking water.

We really enjoyed our stay! It was private, safe, and peaceful. The sunrises and sunsets were magical at this location. However, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the lack of noise and falling asleep to the sound of the water. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Ever was very responsive, welcoming, and gave us great suggestions.

The place was perfect for us. We had 2 couples and we had our own private space. The view of the lake was perfect and in the morning you can even see Fuego going off. Other reviews mention spiders and such. Yes you are in Guatemala. Yes you are in a jungle like area. The spiders on the walls are harmless, and peaceful. There was one on the wall each night. Same spot, gone in the morning. If you want to buy supplies in Pana the kitchen is perfect to cook and has everything you could need. Or there are several places to eat out that you can walk to. Or you can go to the dock and take a tuktuk up the hill to the village to eat. And the property is beautiful with a stone walkway and amazing plants and flowers.

The location is great, front of the lake. Which is perfect for watching the sunrise or sunset, also Santa Cruz is a more nature oriented and relaxed town with less tuk tuks or bikes going around. Also the yellow rest at the top of the town serves very good food.

We were very happy at the Eco house. A spectacular view. We had a great time. It is very close to one of the docks and that made it easy for us to get in and out of the house. A little uncomfortable leaving the rooms to go to the bathroom. Ever and Jennifer were amazing!!! Always willing to help and answered our questions immediately.

We had an amazing stay! Great location by the lake near the little town of Santa Cruz nearby el muelle de casa Toli and nearby public boats. Ever helped us a lot with everything we needed. So did don Lucas the gardener, was nice conversating with him and drinking coffee together and spending time. Great people. Oh go to eat at Sabor Cruceña and buy some artesans

Very nice location, one of the quietest places on Lake Atitlan. There were many insects but due to the mosquito nets we did not suffer from them at night. Price-quality good experience.

The place is beautiful and quiet, it is right in front of the lake with a beautiful view, the house is very nice and cozy, it has everything you need. It was the best decision because it is an isolated and very quiet place. A few minutes walk there are a couple of shops and you can easily go to other villages on the lake. Also nearby you can kayak and do other activities, even in front of the house you can swim in the lake. They were very friendly and helpful with everything.

El lugar es hermoso y tranquilo, queda justo frente al lago con una vista hermosa, la casa es muy linda y acogedora, tiene todo lo necesario. Fue la Mejor decisión porque es un lugar aislado y muy tranquilo. A pocos minutos caminando hay un par de tiendas y puedes ir fácilmente a otros pueblos del lago. También cerca puedes hacer kayak y otras actividades, incluso al frente de la casa puedes nadar en el lago. Fueron muy amables y atentos a todo.

Beautiful views of lake Atitlan in a very quiet neighborhood. Be aware that there are a lot of insects, especially spiders all over the house. Sunrises are incredible.

If you are looking for a relaxing getaway this is it! The view of the lake is beautiful and perfect! The bedrooms and the bathrooms are all in separate units. There were some spiders in the living room but you are surrounded by nature so it’s expected. Ever was very helpful and responsive. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Great stay at Santa Cruz. Access to the lake, great views, everything in its place, lot's of personality. Staying in nature means, all the things related to staying in nature, but lovely overall.

This is a great spot to stay in Santa Cruz. Just far enough away from the public dock and hostels to be quiet, but close enough to be convenient. Right on the water. Vibes are high here. Ever, who manages the place, is easy going, helpful, and responsive (we didn’t communicate directly with Jenifer). It is worth noting that the place consists of 3 separate spaces (two bedrooms and a living space) all connect by outdoor staircases. Quirky, but it works. A great place to stay and one we would enthusiastically return to.

It's the most beautiful view and easy access to the lake. I stsyed twice this summer. It was a lot cheaper than othet airbnbs and I feel like its a great value.

Jennifer’s place was absolutely beautiful! It was the perfect place to sit and unwind after exploring the many little towns on the lake. The only trouble we had whiling staying was the drain in the shower. If you took longer than a 10 minute shower you had to turn the water off and let it drain before continuing. Also, have to get used to seeing spiders and ants. Overall, a magical stay.

The hostess, Jennifer, and Ever were exceptionally helpful and friendly, and the communication was easy, with directions that were very clear and simple to follow. The place, simple but beautiful!breathtaking views of Lake Atitlan and the surrounding volcanoes, couldn't ask for more, surrounded by little by amazing restaurants. a must definitely come back for more!!

Home is in a peaceful location with a beautiful view! Right on the water. Ever is a great host, very responsive, friendly, and accommodating. Unfortunately we encountered some spiders and a scorpion, however Ever was quick to help us though.

Staying here was a pleasure. The location was perfect, the home was cozy and clean, and Jennifer was always available to answer our questions. Only con, We did find the bed to be uncomfortable. Lucas the ground keeper was a total sweetheart; provided fresh passion fruit and limes for us. But regardless Highly recommended!

The house is very nice and has a very nice garden and a great view of the lake. Access to Santa Cruz is very good on foot and by tuktuk. Lucas and his wife are very thoughtful and helpful.

Jennifer's eco-lodge in Santa Cruz offers absolutely breath-taking views of the Lake, is set amongst beautiful well-tended gardens, and is itself full of light and very clean and tidy. Ever was extremely attentive, responsive and helpful during our stay, providing us with games and helping us swiftly when the electricity stopped working. The house is also well-located if you want to walk to nearby hotels, hostels and restaurants along the lakefront, or get a boat from main Santa Cruz port. A few things to bear in mind: - The sleeping spaces and bathroom are in different buildings which can be a bit annoying when you need the bathroom and it's raining - The very front of the garden backs onto a public walkway which means occasionally people do walk in front of the house, however this was rarely an issue Overall a stunning location with incredible views, would definitely stay again.

Lovely Airbnb with beautiful lake view! We would really recommend the stay here. Easy to go to other places as well with public taxi boats. And a beautiful garden with flowers, birds, butterflies, squirrels and even fruits. Only downside is less privacy because of a public path in front of the garden.

Jennifer’s place was a great stay! The views of the volcanos were beautiful. It was a little less private than I was expecting but overall we had a nice time. Super close to launches!

We loved our stay! The hosts are very communicative and helpful. Check in instructions were clear and communicated well beforehand, and if any issues came up they were sorted immediately (we ran out of gas for the stove at one point, and it was fixed and replaced within 15 minutes!). The gardener was super nice and checked in on us regularly. The views are incredible and the house is comfortable. The wifi was strong and consistent for remote work. Definitely bring things from the supermarket prior to arrival so you don't have to boat back and forth. It's an eco house, so yes there are bugs, but nothing scary or that really impacted our experience. It's a really great spot if you're looking to escape!

Incredible place. The access to the main path around the lake and proximity to Santa Cruz is nice. There are more places to eat around here than I expected. I would love to stay here again. Do keep in mind: Santa Cruz is a very nature-y place and there is a possibility you’ll encounter spiders, mosquitoes and scorpions. We did, but had no problems with them during our stay.

Amazing place and location, we throughly enjoyed our week stay here.  Quick walk along lake shore from water taxi, beautiful landscaping and outdoor space.   Co-host (Ever) and gardener (Lucas) greeted us and we left our bags prior to check in.  Both were readily available during the week as Ever has a massage place under the main living space and Lucas is usually around M-F 8-4 for immediate issues.   We learned how to maneuver going down the steps from bedroom to bathroom at night…..use your phone flashlight.   Place is very clean and appreciated the filtered water supplied.   Check out SUPAtitlan for paddle boarding, I highly recommend doing the sunrise across lake paddle boarding tour!

This is a spacious eco house including 2 separate bedrooms, living area and kitchen.  Wonderfully situated by the lake, quiet with great views. The house is tasteful and comfortable with a lovely garden and terrace. The hosts were very nice and helpful and we would like to come baxk for longer !
