The Space
This spacious and comfortable beach house is just a short walk from Carrillo Beach. It features six bedrooms and can accommodate up to 22 guests, making it ideal for large families or groups of friends. Each bedroom includes a private bathroom.
The house spans three floors:
- First floor: kitchen, dining room, living room, minibar area, and sliding doors leading to the terrace and pool. One bedroom on this floor has a slightly separate entrance.
- Second and third floors: two bedrooms on each floor.
- Outside the main entrance: the sixth bedroom has a fully independent entrance but remains within the property.
The terrace includes a small wooden deck perfect for socializing, meditation, reading, small events, or personalized yoga and Pilates sessions.
The pool area offers sun loungers, a small living room, an additional dining table, and a barbecue space, creating a great social setting for groups.
The house is fully equipped with kitchen utensils, bath and pool towels, a dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer to ensure a hassle-free stay.
Daily cleaning service is available upon request, excluding Sundays and holidays.
We also provide recommendations for local tours and activities, as well as optional cooking or massage services that can be arranged at the house.
Location
The property is situated in the heart of Playa Carrillo, approximately 400 meters from the beach. Carrillo Beach is wide, lined with palm trees providing natural shade, and features warm, calm waters, making it a safe and pleasant spot.
Nearby amenities within walking distance include several restaurants and a well-stocked small supermarket.
The area is generally safe, though guests are advised to keep the house locked and avoid leaving valuables visible in vehicles.

Samara town is about a 20-minute drive away and offers a variety of restaurants, shops, and a beautiful beach that is also suitable for surf lessons with warm, calm waters.
Additionally, we offer a golf cart rental service to help guests explore the beach and surrounding area more easily. Please inquire if interested.
Guest Access
The entire property is rented as a private unit with no shared spaces.
Parking is available on-site for up to six average-sized cars.
A maintenance team cleans the pool and terrace daily, and cleaning services are provided upon guest request.
The house includes a bedroom fully adapted for guests with disabilities.

The outdoor area was as wonderful as expected. The inside was better than expected and the beds were super comfortable. The surprise was there was a small market, bakery, and butcher across the street which made cooking breakfast for our large group so easy! The beach was gorgeous and deserted and we spent all day just hanging out in the water. We had my older parents with us and I wish I had picked up two beach chairs for them since there were none at the house (I forgot to ask beforehand). The yoga deck at the house was a delightful bonus. We had a local yoga instructor come in one day to do a session for us. It was such a fun treat. Two of the kids found an ATV rental across the street for $75 for a half day and had their own awesome adventure.

I had an amazing stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and even nicer than expected. The host was incredibly welcoming and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. The location is perfect—just a short drive away from a beautiful beach with clear water and stunning sunsets. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Beautiful house and pool, wonderful support staff next door helped us with turtle tour, massage service, even finding doctor. Nearby beautiful beach, good food. The only negative: on main street, so there is some traffic noise.

We loved our stay here. Jorge and Maria were very helpful and attentive. The layout of the house is cool with plenty of space. The pool was great and our favorite place to hang out.

El lugar es perfecto para familias o grupos de amigos grandes, pero le falta mantenimiento especialmente en el manejo de aguas en los baños y fregadero. La piscina es grande y muy limpia.

Casa Garumo is absolutely fantastic! It was the perfect home base for our group of three families (13 people total). The house is clean, spacious, and incredibly well stocked with everything we needed. One of the highlights of our stay was ordering meals from Sra. Maria and her family—the food was so delicious, we ended up ordering several times! Maria and Jorge do an amazing job keeping the property spotless, and they were so helpful with any questions. The pool was a huge hit with the kids (and adults!) and was cleaned daily, which we really appreciated. We loved Playa Carrillo—easily walkable but also a 2 min drive. We enjoyed couple of great restaurants nearby and grocery stores were conveniently located just down the block for anything we needed. Casa Garumo is also just 10 minutes from Samara, a charming little beach town full of great restaurants, shops, and surfing. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly, highly recommend!
