The Space
This cozy oceanfront accommodation is well suited to families. The property includes:
- A swimming pool with a shaded area for children and guests who prefer limited sun exposure
- An Argentine-style grill
- A bohío with hammocks and a bar
- Expansive green areas
- A peaceful setting filled with the sound of the waves
The full house is ideal for sharing enjoyable family moments or simply relaxing with a book in one of the hammocks.
Guest Access
The property is located directly on the oceanfront.
Cleaning inside the property is handled by us. Beach cleaning, however, is not our responsibility. Even so, we make an effort to keep the beach clean out of a sense of community and belonging. At times, the waves may bring a significant amount of waste onto the beach in front of the property.
Guests who would like to help with beach cleanup may request a large trash bag. Your cooperation helps protect the environment, and we greatly appreciate it.
Other Things to Note
Vanessa and José are responsible for maintaining the property. They live on-site in a domestic employee’s room, separate from the pool and living areas. Their room is located at the entrance of the property.
They generally do not pass through the pool areas unless a guest requests their assistance.

Excelente ubicación , muy cerca de la playa tal como se observa en las fotos, caminamos como 3 minutos por un gran patio de arena. El jardin y area de la piscina es agradable, nos encantaron las "rosas del desierto". Las habitaciones limpias y cómodas; la cocina cuenta con variados electrodomésticos que facilitaron nuestra estadía. Roy atento y amigable desde el inicio permitiéndonos relajarnos y disfrutar del lugar.

Casa Divi Divi was really great. Roy and Vanessa were proactively helpful and accessible when needed. The house and amenities were exactly as described. The pool, rancho, beach access were stunning! The location was awesome- it was so nice to walk along the beach to the point and the other side of the peninsula (fun to see kitesurfers, crabs on the beach, etc) and then have an outdoor shower to rinse off before getting into the pool. Loved having a grill so we could cook without heating up,the house. It was great having the local store for ice and things we forgot to bring. Loved everything about it. If you go, bring plenty of sunscreen!

Roy and Vanessa took great care of us. Our kids loved the shaded pool. The property is an easy walk to both sides of the Pennisula and directly on the pacific side. The Kitchen was stocked with tons of spices, and I wish we had booked a longer stay to do more cooking or hanging out by the pool. Punta Chame was a great kiteboarding and beach destination, but there isn't a lot else to do there, it's also quite rural and is for the adventureous. For example, during our stay there was a multi-hour power outage due to the utility company, Roy and Vanessa were great communicators around it and did everything they could to help out.

Our stay at Divi Divi in Punta Chame was exactly what the doctor ordered in for us to escape the mounting winter snow. We had a fun three weeks of rest and relaxation with fantastic walks on the beach and lots of fun just enjoying a quiet afternoon in the pool. Some of our group took the opportunity to learn kitesurfing, the rest had a great time watching the lessons while enjoying a few drinks. We also took advantage of the local area by going fishing and taking several morning hikes to beat the heat. Found some excellent local dining, particularly at La Casa Amarilla, where we enjoyed many of our meals. The caretaker Vanessa and her family were fantastic! Any and every question was answered quickly. Unfortunately our Spanish is not the best. But we tried. Thankfully, Vanessa has learned how to use Google translate. If you are looking for a nice an quiet town to escape to Punta Chame is a great place!
