The Space
This private jungle villa features two separate houses: the main house includes a living room and two bedrooms, while the second house contains three bedrooms. In total, there are five bedrooms—four with king-size beds and one with two queen-size beds. Each bedroom offers spacious closets and a private bathroom equipped with a shower and toilet.
A jungle jacuzzi is situated in front of the master bedroom, providing a beautiful view. Every aspect of the villa has been thoughtfully designed to ensure guest comfort. The living room is equipped with a high-quality projector.
The kitchen is fully stocked with modern appliances, including an oven, microwave, dishwasher, espresso machine, and purified water available from the refrigerator. The villa also features a top-tier security system. Please note that outside service providers are not permitted.
Gated parking is available on the property.

Location
The villa is located 800 meters inside the jungle, positioned conveniently between downtown and the beach. It is a 5-minute drive to La Veleta, an area known for its diverse dining options, Jungle Keva Boutique Hotel, and Jungle Holistic Center offering yoga and other activities.

Amazing breakfast included and amazing host, really recommend the place, just as a recommendation it would be cool if they add a heater to the pool, I know it’s expensive but just a recommendation for the future, this place is really nice and I loved the kitchen area

We spent a Friendcation Christmas at Bougain Villa. Edouard was a wonderful host and the place was exactly as described. The house was clean and everyone appreciated having their own bedroom and bathroom. We did have a little trouble finding the place the first day but Joel found us and showed us to the house. As others have said the roads are gravel but we rented and SUV and had no problem navigating the roads. Having breakfast every morning was wonderful and we asked Joel to cook dinner several nights for us. Delicious! This house is in the jungle so yes, you may se an insect or two but that is to expected. It was very relaxing and the pool is beautiful. Joel had wonderful suggestions on what cenotes we should visit and what grocery store we should go to. He and Geronimo were very helpful and made the stay amazing. We would book again.

I came with 9 friends for a birthday trip and the place was perfect. Secluded - so you will need a car service to get places. The pool was nice, we mainly relaxed and worked from home during our stay. The included breakfast was amazing! Joel was great

We stayed here for a bachelorette trip and had a great time overall! The house is spacious, clean, and the host and housekeeper were both very kind and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and a great perk, though it’s not available on Saturdays since that’s the housekeeper’s day off. The host also stocked our fridge with groceries before our arrival (we paid for them and a small service fee), which was super convenient. The home is deep in the jungle, so there are insects and some humidity. Some rooms had a faint sulfur smell, and the water sometimes carried the same scent. The pool isn’t heated, and the hot tub never got fully hot, only lukewarm. We also noticed HUGE ground beetles at night that appear out of nowhere. Towels and sheets were clean, and our rooms were comfortable. Having a driver was essential, as the home is remote and surrounded by dirt roads. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the peaceful setting!

Édouard is a great host! We had the best time in the villa. It was clean and as pictured. Other reviews have spoken about the roads but we hired bicycles and scooters and did not have an issue. You can walk into town as well, the closest street with restaurants is about 25 minutes. The roads near the villa do have some holes though so be prepared to dodge the puddles. I would definitely stay here again!

Edouard was very easy to get in touch with! The place was beautiful, and Joel was very helpful and made really delicious breakfast. However, there were a few things to note as other reviewers point out. The location is difficult to find. It's not just that the streets are unpaved, they are unmarked. We had to use GPS coordinates. Because of the rain, the unpaved roads had become bumpy with deep pools of water. We thankfully had a private driver, but without him, I don't think we would've been able to make it home with a new driver at night. The pool is unfortunately not heated and the trees, although beautiful, cover the pool entirely, so there isn't a lot of sun heating it. We couldn't use it because it was too cold. Finally, when we had booked, it noted breakfast every day, but then Saturdays were no longer included, which we understood, but it was inconvenient. I also sadly had hair in my shower, the sheets and towels had a lot of stains, and the bug nets over the beds had holes.

LOVED the Jungle villa, I will say its VERY REMOTE, you are the only home out there and it can be tricky for some to find. We felt safe and staff was always available. We didn't need anything once inside the villa. The breakfast was great every morning and I cant say enough the staff was great. The host helped us from booking all the way to check out with all questions and accommodations. The rooms were perfect for two guest each, spacious and allowed privacy. The pool was great, the house is mainly open so be prepared for insects etc to be sharing the space with you. We also had complementary beer to enjoy during our stay. Edouard let us stay late since we had an afternoon flight and I couldn't have been more impressed with his customer service. I would be back

Great place. The host was very nice, responsive and veryyyyy helpful with helping me plan my trip for my group. He helped me with transportation and massages at the Airbnb which was really nice by the way. Joel who made the breakfast and dinner was very nice. House is in the jungle so like everyone else said bring bug spray. Oh and pool was nice!! They even had pool floaties. Thanks again for everything. God Bless
