The Space
Casa Cerca Del Mar is a comfortable four-bedroom, four-bathroom home featuring a private pool and lush, secluded gardens. Located just steps from the beach, this two-story residence offers a relaxing coastal retreat.
The house is uniquely situated only 50 meters from the shoreline and close to all essential amenities. It includes a covered, furnished veranda on the second floor, which connects via a spiral staircase to a shaded belvedere on the third level. Both outdoor spaces provide stunning views of the Pacific Ocean.
Guest Access
Guests have full access to the entire home, including the pool and surrounding grounds. The rental package includes:
- Twice-weekly maid service
- Daily maintenance of the pool and gardens
- Full support from a local manager
Christelle, the local manager, is available to assist with transportation to and from Liberia Airport, as well as arranging tours and excursions.
Two ocean kayaks are provided for guest use. These are perfect for exploring the nearby small islands or fishing in the bay, which is known for species such as Wahoo, Snapper, and Rooster Fish.

Great location in laidback town of Potrero! Response from host was prompt with quick turnaround times. Beds were comfortable and house accommodated 7 family members traveling together for a week. Great central location for exploring area. Thanks so much!

We've stayed at many Airbnbs, and this was by far our favorite. Lovely house, comfortable beds, a great bathroom for each of the bedrooms, fantastic pool with warm water in a great neighbourhood, only steps from a beautiful, quiet beach. We watched the sunsets from our balcony or took the conveniently supplied camp stools to watch from the beach. Some nice restaurants and a small grocery store we could walk to. A short drive from horseback riding, Playa Conchal, the Westin where we got day passes and an hour's drive from Tamarindo where we went shopping. Just as important, our hosts were very responsive to our needs in advance of our trip, and while we were there. Friendly, lovely people. We would definitely come again.

Our family loved the location of Casa Circa Del Mar, it is wonderful being so close to the beach and not having to drive all the time . We also enjoyed the pool so much and had many wonderful meals outside on the Veranda . The house was amazing with so much space and has everything you need. The Host was very kind and always available and responsive. We were celebrating an 80th Birthday and she had decorations and candles for us which was very sweet.

Great spot! Very close to the beach, maybe a 90 second walk. Our group had 7 adults in it and we had plenty of space to relax, indoor and out. The pool and other lounging areas out back were perfect. Can pretty much walk to anything you need in 10-15 minutes. Will definitely be back!

Marie was a great host. The home was just as described and fit our group of eight perfectly. Marie met us at the property upon arrival and was so fun to talk to. She was welcoming and full of information. She clearly wanted us to enjoy our stay, it was evident. She arranged for a rental golf cart to be present, we only had to sign paperwork. She was very responsive to all my inquiries and helpful with recommendations. Couldn't have asked for a better host. Plenty of bathroom that always had hot water and the kitchen and living room were great for morning coffee and evening dinners. Lots of wildlife around as we saw monkeys in the trees on several days. The area is quiet but just a few minutes from lots of different eateries, shops, beaches. The Potrero beach was so peaceful, great for morning walks and swims for young kids as waves are modest. The pool is a wonderful alternative to the ocean. The garden and pool are tended to daily. Without question, we would return!

when we got to our house the Wi-Fi was not working and Marie got right on it and they even had to run another line because The caretaker accidentally cut the line when trimming the palm trees.

The house is in a great location, if you are looking for a reasonable house in a small rural community, close to the beach, then this is a good choice. The house is just steps to an amazing beach, where we were often the only ones on the beach. We missed having a dining room table in the house, but there is one outside (as described in ad). Always felt safe both on the property, on the beach and in town. Any issues we had with the house were immediately addressed by the host, which was much appreciated.
