Our stay at this home was incredible. The property is even more beautiful than described, perfectly tucked into the forest while still being just a short drive to the beach. Waking up to the sounds of nature and relaxing by the pool with views felt like a dream. The home itself is thoughtfully designed, spacious, and well maintained. The open living area was perfect for spending time together, and the bedrooms were comfortable, private, and beautifully appointed. The outdoor showers were such a unique and refreshing touch that really added to the overall experience. The location couldn’t be better. Peaceful and secluded, yet just a quick drive to Paquera and the ferry. We also loved learning about the area’s bioluminescence and having easy access to explore it. Everything was exactly as described (if not better), and the self check-in made arrival seamless. You can tell the property is well cared for, and even small details like the upkeep of the outdoor areas, were handled with care.

Beautiful home in the forest with monkeys swinging and views of the ocean. Spacious home, great sleeps, awesome kitchen, and lots of lounge space. We enjoyed the location, but would probably stay closer to Montezuma next time around. Hosts helped us book a kayak tour that was so much fun! Worth noting that the pool didn't look like the photos. There was an algae issue when we arrived - cloudy, dark green, couldn't see the bottom. The hosts said it was safe to swim in, but we didn't feel comfortable. They sent pool cleaners who worked on it. The hosts said it was fixed but it was not. The water was cloudy to the end. We asked for a discount and they offered a very small amount as a gesture. We were pretty disappointed - with the situation and outcome. We booked this place for the pool and paid quite a bit extra for that (after changing our prior booking). Overall though, we appreciated our stay and the hosts.

We had the most incredible trip at this gorgeous home. From the moment we arrived, it felt like the perfect blend of comfort, function, and natural beauty. It is tucked into the forest, which gave us privacy and peaceful shade-a welcome break from the heat- yet the house still gets lovely pockets of sun that make the pool area feel dreamy. Easy check-in, extremely responsive and helpful hosts. One of our favorite parts of the stay was watching monkeys swing through the trees. We loved the town of Paquera. Playa Organos—while a bit of a physical trek on foot—was just a 5-minute drive away. The beach was peaceful, calm for swimming, boogie boarding, had shaded areas, and had tours to Isla Tortuga. Perfect location for doing a bioluminescence kayak tour and exploring the nearby Curú Wildlife Refuge! Highly recommend El Gecko Tours, El Punto restaurant at sunset. Couldn’t have asked for a better home-beautiful, serene, and surrounded by nature—this place truly exceeded our expectations!

Great place, very peaceful! The only thing was that a lot of items were not functioning. The curtains (battery operated) didnt work, so there was light very early on, the coffee machines didn’t either and some other electronicals. Other than that the place was great and we enjoyed our stay.

Recomendamos!

This is absolutely the best find on Airbnb. The best Airbnb we’ve rented. Everything was top notch. Sarah was the best host; very responsive and helped us organize activities. The Airbnb is gorgeous and squeaky clean. The surroundings were out of this world. I wish we could have stayed a month or more and I hope to be back. Description accurate around recommending a 4x4 however it’s not a difficult drive.

Sarah’s house was beautiful and was the perfect amount of space for our family of 7. We enjoyed many mornings sipping coffee on the large deck waiting to catch a glimpse of the monkeys that came to visit often!! The house was just as beautiful as pictured…. And very comfortable for all of us!! You definitely need a good 4-wheel Vehicle for the driveway, to visit the local gorgeous beach down the street and to visit the sites. There is also a great little store down the road that was great for snacks, beverages, wine… and also had delicious Italian meats, cheeses and gelato!! This was very convenient instead of making a trip into town!! We had some water issues In the beginning of the trip. But Sarah and Sean helped us get these resolved. The 2 items that are important to keep in mind is that the driving can be a bit tricky the first couple of times & because the water in the house is heated by solar…. Conserving warm water is necessary. Overall, we all had a great vacation!!

The house was exactly as described in the listing and photos, spacious, beautiful, and perfect for families. The location is fantastic, with stunning ocean views and a peaceful forest backdrop. The hosts were very responsive, addressing a few minor issues almost immediately. Overall, an excellent stay!

I cannot begin to describe how magical this place is! A high 4x4 vechile is required. If you don't have an adventurous bone in your body, skip Costa all together. But if you do, you will never regret renting this home on the Nicoya peninsula. It is absolutely stunning and clean. It had everything we needed and was an excellent home base for adventures all around the end of the peninsula. We felt safe and secure and even had local doggos visit us daily. That is the Tican way, though. (When in Rome!) They were super sweet and well behaved. The hosts answered every question and were alwasy there if we needed them or a suggestion on what tours to book. TEN STARS!
