Would have loved to stay longer

The Pina Hills home is exactly what you’d want from a remote Costa Rican experience! The home itself is bright with a wall of windows, comfortable, and well-positioned for taking in the amazing views! The pool and patio are beautiful, refreshing and seem to be an attraction for the local wildlife! We spent a good chunk of each day relaxing and reading by the pool! While staying at Pina Hills we saw several black-mandibles toucans, fiery-billed aracari, green parrots, and scarlet macaws. A troop of squirrels monkeys passed through almost daily!We heard howler monkeys daily and saw them high in the trees a couple times. We saw a couple iguana, a Jesus Christ lizard, a common basilisk, several geckos and anoles, and two very large cane toads! Everyday was an adventure! The Pavones area also has much to offer! The beaches are beyond compare with a very nice, safe swimming beach just down the hill from the house! Finally, everyone involved in the care of this property is wonderful!

We loved our stay at this home! Very well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds , and super friendly hosts. We always had everything we needed and didn’t want to leave. Absolutely can’t wait to come back.

Piña Hills es un lugar espectacular para hospedarse en Pavones. La estadía fue sumamente placentera desde el primer momento. La casa es hermosa, muy cómoda y está pensada con gran atención al detalle. Cuenta con absolutamente todo lo que se pueda necesitar: la cocina está completamente equipada y las habitaciones son amplias y muy confortables. La piscina es un gran plus, perfecta para relajarse y disfrutar del entorno. La zona es simplemente hermosa y, al no ser un destino masificado, resulta ideal para quienes buscan tranquilidad y desconectarse del bullicio turístico.

Awesome modern home… I highly recommend it.

Piña Hill was the second Airbnb we stayed in during our time in Pavones. The driveway was slightly intimidating at first, but we got the hang of it. The house has a peak-a-boo ocean view but also feels completely tucked away on a jungle hillside. The bedrooms were gloriously dark at night, and we enjoyed sitting on the window seats during the day waiting for storms to pass. Naomy was easy to communicate with and resolved any small issues promptly. Location-wise this home is great if you’re surfing Pavones Point or Pavones, but you’ll definitely need a car unless you just want to walk down to the beach for sunset or dinner at La Piña. Piña Hills is definitely a great choice if you are looking for a modern, comfortable home while in Pavones.

Pavones is a magical place and the house is lovely!! We enjoyed our stay and will be back:)
