The Space
Sun in Soul is a stunning private villa located within walking distance of numerous restaurants and boutiques in La Veleta, the trendiest neighborhood in Tulum. It is just 25 minutes away from the new Tulum Airport.
The villa offers a spacious open-concept living and dining area with a gourmet kitchen, fully equipped and ready to accommodate a private chef upon request through the concierge service. Multiple lounging areas provide comfortable spots to relax, socialize, read, or enjoy Netflix on the large screen. The living space opens directly onto a wrap-around pool and garden.
In the garden, a Palapa creates a glamping retreat, with a deck and hammock nearby to enjoy the jungle sounds.

- First-floor bedroom: King-size bed (or two single beds) with an en-suite bathroom featuring a glass shower and a free-standing tub.
- Second-floor bedroom: King-size bed (or two single beds) with an en-suite bathroom including a glass shower.
- Third-floor bedroom: King-size bed plus one daybed with an en-suite bathroom and glass shower.
- Palapa glamping experience: King-size bed (or two single beds) plus one daybed with an en-suite bathroom and air conditioning for comfortable nights.
The third-floor terrace spans 700 square feet and includes an outdoor kitchen, a stylish jacuzzi, and lounge chairs for sunbathing. There is ample space for yoga or sun salutations facing the rising sun.

This villa is our family home, and we ask guests to treat it with care and respect. Smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere on the property, both indoors and outdoors. This is not a party venue, and we kindly request guests to be considerate of our neighbors.
A $250 fee will be charged if smoking or vaping is detected inside the villa or if cigarette residue is found.

My friends and I stayed at Jean’s place for my bachelorette trip in Mexico, and we had the best experience! The home was exactly as described. Clean, spacious, and perfect for a group. Jean was a great host, super responsive and helpful with local recommendations. We felt safe and well taken care of the entire stay. Would absolutely book again and highly recommend his Airbnb to anyone visiting the area!

Excellent séjour à la villa de Jean François. Equipe réactive et aux petits soins. La villa est telle que décrite et le quartier est sommes tout tranquille malgré la proximité des artères commerciales. Il est possible de se déplacer facilement a pieds pour les commodités, restaurants, magasins de proximité etc. La piscine est très bien et propre. La petite maison extérieure (chambre additionnelle)est accueillante et crée une expérience unique au coeur de Tulum. Encore merci pour l'accueil nous avons bien apprécié notre séjour

I choose this villa to host my bachorlette party and so glad that I did! When searching for a villa in Tulum I found it difficult to find a place that seemed safe as me and my bridesmaids were concerned about safety. The area La veleta is very safe and has so many great local restaurants and cafes. Jean was an awesome host and was very reliable. This vila is very neat and clean and aesthetically designed, spacious, and has a welcoming atmosphere. Jean is very responsive, anytime we had question and gave us a very nice tour of the place. We were so surprised and glad to have him greet us at the door. I am very much satisfied with my stay here at casa sun in soul!!

We loved staying at Jean-francois's place. Interesting location between the town and the beach. Great restaurants, taco stand, coffee shops, and bakery all within a couple block. Jean-Francois also had grat recommendations for cenotes and a beach club.

Our group had an amazing stay at Jean-François’ villa! The location is great, and the villa itself it’s extremely spacious and perfect for a larger group. Jean-François and concierge team were very responsive with any requests we had during the trip.
