Ferreto’s House
The house has 2 bedrooms with private bathroom.One of them has a beautiful view of the Lake while resting.The kitchen area is fully equipped.In the back there is an external toilet and space for washing clothes.On the front has a balcony to relax,read or enjoy a snack.With parking for 3 vehicles without security problems since it is a quiet area of little traffic.It has a rustic oven for grilling meats and that works with coal, if it is your taste. The space We invite you to visit our country house located 26 km from La Fortuna. In an ideal area to rest and find peace and emotional tranquility. With beautiful views of Lake Arenal , the peaceful Arenal Volcano and beautiful sunsets, which will give you the necessary atmosphere for your relaxation. Guest access In case you want a hike through trails in a forest near the area or a horseback riding tour with pleasure we put you in contact with an operator. Other things to note Ferreto House has a grass area that takes advantage of Duquesa, our pet, a nobleman and six-year-old mare. Occasionally there will be a staff in charge of the mare. You can enjoy hikes in the surroundings of the house on the way and cool off on the Caño Black River only 2 km from the stay. Or go down to the shore of the lake on a trail in front of the house in front of the house. In case you want a hike on trails in a forest near the area or a horse tour, we gladly put you in touch with an operator. Another thing to consider will be regarding the amenities we only leave one cloth per person plus an extra one, it also happens with the blankets.

The good - house was very private with gorgeous views of the lake. Very open floor plan with lots of room and we truly appreciated the air conditioning. The house had no washcloths, one hand towel for each bathroom and 2 towels for each bathroom. The blankets on the bed were a single couch throw blanket with one extra. I contacted Melissa right away, and when she got back with me she didn’t want to make the 30 minute trip from La Fortuna to accommodate us. The dryer does not even have a plug hooked to it so we couldn’t launder the only towels we had, or our wet clothes. Forget hanging them on the line because it takes 2 days to dry with the rain and overall damp atmosphere. We ended up flying home with a bag full of wet clothes. The hot water didn’t work in master shower. You can’t use the tub. The second shower has electrical to the shower head which began smoking during a shower. After I contacted Melissa, she changed the description of to show they only offer limited items.

Sehr in der naturgelegene Unterkunft. Schöner Grillplatz. Super Blick auf Lago Arenal und den Vulkan (wenn es keinen Nebel hatte). Hühner ums Haus welche ab 3.30 a.m. krähen. Leider gab es keinen Trockner da er defekt sei. Alternative kam zu spät. Geschirrtrocknungstücher und Abwaschmittel war nicht vorhanden.

This was a most beautiful setting. The views of Lake Arenal and the volcanal were spectacular. If you climb to the top of the property (very easy to do as it is open pasture) it is even more beautiful and the volcano is easier to see. The property both inside and out had room for a larger group than the four of us except for sleeping area. There were two queen beds and two bedrooms and also a pullout couch in the living area. The only reason I mention this is the kitchen, living room, outside patios and size of the outdoor area would lend itself to a much larger group than current sleeping arrangements afford. Melissa, our host, was very responsive to questions and problems. One bathrooms hot water was not working and she offered to have it fixed right away. We opted to just use the one bathroom so as not to interrupt our stay. Melissa seemed genuinely interested in making any suggested improvements and was a pleasure to deal with. Great location 20 minutes from La Fortuna.

Maison tout équipée, parfaite pour passer quelques jours en couple ou en famille et s'y sentir chez soi. Très fonctionnelle et assez moderne, entre balcon, coin pour faire un feu, cuisine ouverte, deux chambres et canapé, lave-linge, cuisine extérieure traditionnelle (mais pas utilisée), les poules, la vue, le calme, on se sent vraiment comme chez soi. Même les gens du village qui passent dans la rue vous saluent en passant ! Incroyable, un de nos coups de coeur de notre séjour.

Fun place to stay with a wonderful view of the lake! A little off the beaten path, which was very nice. There were chickens up in the morning, so maybe not the best place for sleeping in, but who would want to here :)

The house is very rustic. Comfortable enough, but rustic. It overlooks the lake with a great view. Cute mare horse in the backyard - loves bananas. Overall perfectly comfortable place. If you are expecting a nice updated (US style construction) house, this will not meet your expectations. I think the owner has a fairly accurate description of the house and surroundings. We enjoyed our stay there.

Belle petite maison parfaite pour une famille. vue sur le lac Arenal. Beaucoup d'oiseaux perroquets nous avons vu. Pas de réseau Internet fiable et pas de wifi a la maison. Les lumières s'allument et s'éteignent toutes la nuit détecteur de mouvement un peu fatiguant et nous pouvions pas éteindre. Le garage n'est pas accessible. Toute équipée. On a pas vraiment manqué de rien.
