The view at Casa Carolina is unbeatable! Amazing sunsets, huge deck, great views from inside the house too. Easy walk or drive to Playa Santana (~5 min walk down the hill, maybe 10 min up). AC units were really efficient. The house was very clean, and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies. The noise from the nearby construction was minimal and not an issue for us at all. We loved this house!

Wow!!! What a place.  3 of us went on a surf trip.  It overlooks Santa (one of my favorite breaks in the world)  You can time the crowd.  The sunsets were all time.  Beautiful place to stay.   The house was great.  It was everything we needed.  We never used the TV or anything and ate out most the time.  We used it to pretty much crash every night but it was super relaxing.  The host were awesome.  They let us know know when there was going to be a power outage for the couple days we were there.  They had the fans on back up power as well as the lights.   It was a great trip.   I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful, relaxing and loved all the beaches and food. Third time staying in Casa Carolina and we will be back.

We had a great 5 night stay. The house is just as pictured, very clean, and has beautiful ocean views. The Inn, market, Santana beach and spa are within walking distance of the house (the walk includes a small hill that could be difficult for small kids, but no problem for adults). That said, I think we would rent a car for our next visit to be less reliant on the once-an-hour shuttle from the Inn for accessing the other 4 beaches. Jose with NSR was very responsive and helpful. NSR helped arrange transport for us from Liberia Costa Rica and everything went smoothly.

This is a tricky review to leave, but it's info I wish I had before booking. The view is spectacular & the house was the perfect size for our family of 5. If you're used to ABNB, it's important to know that NSR is a concierge service & not just a host (we prefer a more hands off experience). The house is close to the clubhouse (restaurants, beach, resort pool), but not walkable after dark. The road is very rocky & my kids slipped several times in broad daylight. Having a car is necessary IMO. The roads around Rancho Santana are steep, confusing & everything is very spread out. The house is ~20 mins by car away from the most kid-friendly beach (Los Perros). Food at the main restaurants was just OK & was the most expensive of all the areas in Nica we stayed. Leaving RS to eat or explore was not easy. NSR was wonderful -- very responsive, professional & everything was fixed promptly, however we had so many issues that it made our shorter stay a lot less relaxing than it should have been.

The house is just as shown in the photos, everything is very clean and in good condition, you have everything you need, the stay was really pleasant. We'll definitely be back soon!

Our second time staying with our daughter and her family that live in Nica. in Casa Carolina. Beautiful place to treat our daughter and family.

Casa Carolina is a beautiful house with amazing views and great facilities. We stayed in for a few days and really loved it! Jose and Gaby were super responsive and helped us with everything that we needed, we really enjoyed the service from NSR. The house itself is secluded and has great privacy, it has a well equipped kitchen, a pool and a ping pong table. Watching the sunsets from the balcony overlooking the bay was amazing, the place looks even better in real life than it does in the photos. The house is a few minutes walk from the main restaurant and pool area in Rancho Santana, but the walk is down/up hill, so a car is really recommended. Rancho Santana has really good facilities and there are a few beaches and restaurants that are fun to visit and explore. It is a huge area with many hills, so a car is required if you don't want to rely on the shuttles that the Ranch provides. We loved our stay and would I highly recommend Casa Carolina and NSR.

I'm providing as lengthy of a review as possible with the limit Airbnb provides. Our stay at Casa Carolina was nothing short of amazing. The home is stunning with breathtaking views of the Pacific, unmatched sunsets and a super convenient location within Ranch Santa (super close to the clubhouse)! Casa Carolina is super clean, the AC works well and everything we needed was provided (beach towels, fresh drinking water, etc). We absolutely loved relaxing on the porch and cooling off in the pool! I am a mosquito magnet and we didnt have any issues with getting bug bites! Leading up to our stay, Gaby was extremely helpful by answering my many questions, helping coordinate our transportation and arranging our rental truck! Once there, Jose was a fantastic host! He stopped by to check on us, provided options for things to do and was extremely accommodating! Also, Evert was a wonderful tour guide and driver! Rancho is well appointed with delicious food and stunning beaches. Overall 10/10!

Book this place now, you will be amazed. The pictures don’t do it justice. The location and the sunsets on the pool overlooking the beautiful Pacific and Rancho Santana are you die for. NSR, Carly and Jose were great to work with. Very pro active when we had a local electric outage and kept us informed the entire time. There’s so much to do inside Rancho Santana we’re already planing our return. I wish their Master had a king bed but other than that the AC is cold and the hot water and internet work as they should. There’s a back up generator but not for the AC but the fans keep you cool. Will definitely return.

The place is amazing with everything you can dream of for a short or long gateway. And the views were fantastic  - the most beautiful sunsets you could imagine. NSR made the stay very comfortable, easy and just perfect.

Beautiful view and a real usable oven which one rarely finds in Nicaragua. Very close to the clubhouse and tienda. Made life very easy for a couple days.
