The Space

Welcome to your tranquil retreat in Hacienda Iguana, Nicaragua. This bright and airy beach house offers three bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, air conditioning, and sliding glass doors that open onto a courtyard with a private pool. Situated just steps from the beach in a secluded setting, it is ideal for families and groups of friends.

The single-story home features:

• Three spacious bedrooms, each with a king-sized bed and en suite bathroom
• Air conditioning in every bedroom
• Option to add up to two single beds across the bedrooms to accommodate extra guests
• Ample closet space for storage
• A private courtyard with native plants, a pool, an outdoor shower, and a guest bathroom
• A well-equipped kitchen with all necessary appliances and a propane BBQ outside
• A large living area with vaulted ceilings, numerous windows, and fans to enjoy the fresh air
• A locally crafted dining table large enough for the entire group
• Wi-Fi throughout the property and a smart TV in the living room

Please note that the house does not have a backup generator. Power outages can occur occasionally, which is common in Nicaragua. Nearby restaurants and cafes within Hacienda Iguana have backup generators and Wi-Fi available for guests needing internet during outages.

Grocery Shopping

The best place to purchase groceries is La Colonia in Rivas, located 100 meters south of the turnoff for Tola on the west side of the street. It is advisable to stock up on groceries for your entire stay here. Fuel stations are also available in Rivas, the closest to the property.

For convenience, a full-service catering meal plan is available upon request, eliminating the need to shop and prepare meals.

• Pili's Kitchen at the Beach Club (beachfront at Colorado Break) serves fresh food, juices, smoothies, and has a full bar.

• The property is approximately a 2 to 2.5-hour drive from Augusto C. Sandino International Airport in Managua, Nicaragua.

• Most major car rental agencies operate at Managua airport; advance reservations are recommended.
• A four-wheel-drive vehicle is only necessary if planning to visit beaches further south, such as in the San Juan del Sur area.
• Airport transfers and daily sightseeing or surf trips can be arranged.
• Motorcycle and scooter rentals are available.
• Vehicle and boat transportation to other surf breaks can be organized.
• Car rentals from Alamo and National are available with an office near Hacienda Iguana.
