We loved it here! Everything was super clean and the beds were comfortable. The pool is gorgeous. The host is lovely and super communicative, made it feel like we were visiting a friend. And the location is absolutely unbeatable! Falling asleep up in the trees, away from the crowds and volume of the town, but only a 4 minute walk from everything you could need. We can't wait to come back!

Nice Airbnb in a beautiful town. Everything is under 5 minutes of walk. The humidity and the location (jungle) made the stay a bit uncomfortable as there is no AC. The pool is shared with the hostel side of the place. The morning breakfast was quite good and the staff pretty handy. I would recommend.

Great place up in the trees. A bit of a walk getting up to the house, but we knew that from the description. Not a great choice for someone with mobility issues, but it was fine for us. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Easy to get to know the other guests as well.

The lodge: Very nice hostel. Much nicer than hostels I stayed at in Europe when I was in college. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is amazing. We woke up to howler monkeys every morning and saw coati, agouti, and capuchins from our terrace. The beach and town were only a short walk away. The bungalow: Not what we expected from the pictures and descriptions. More rustic and very hot and humid, with no way to beat the humidity. All of our clothes are still damp, hours after leaving. There were ceiling fans in every room which helped a little. We wish we’d realized that it didn’t have AC and that it would be necessary. Everything metal in the bungalow was rusted. It doesn’t look like new construction. The hot water was sparse and intermittent. Even with the heat and humidity, sometimes you need a hot shower and we basically went two days in a row without. Didn’t know it was part of a hostel from the listing.
